That's ridiculous. Just because professional athletes care about money doesn't preclude them from caring about winning a game they have dedicated their entire lives to.

Most people that are top echelon in their field would take the highest offer for their services as well. It doesn't make one iota of a difference in the vast majority of those same people's desire to do a great job. A little perspective is needed here.

I never said that, hence the Kobe Bryant mention. He is one of few who really TRULY care about winning. You really think somebody like Roy Williams really TRULY cares about winning? I bet you if somebody said they would take 5 million off of his 45 million dollar contract if he didn't get out there for the last play in the Denver game his punk *** would've been out there. You don't need to force people like Kobe Bryant or Ray Lewis to play.
