Who do YOU feel are the guys that have not lived up to your expectations this season?
On several I agree with you and would add my own...
At #1 it would have to be
Mike Zimmer - I don't personally dislike the man but Dallas needs better.
Drew Bledsoe - Wow, what a rapid decline. He's always been a sack machine but I wasn't expecting so many truly bad decisions left and right (and over the middle too). His arm strength was in question from day one.
Brady James - With Ferguson having the year he's been having in front of him, James should be fantastic, but instead he's been missing assignments and whiffing tackles. The coverage skills he displayed so well last season seemed to vanish the moment he signed his extension.

Terrible. Too tall and bad technique. I'd like to see him get a shot as a 4-3 DE, but in all likelihood it may be better to deal him to a 3-4 team looking for depth and switch ourselves to a 4-3.

He's awful. He'll be announced as a June cut right after the draft.

Terrible, and it's probably not his fault. He didn't ask to be thrown into a 3-4 defense. It has removed the Hallmark of his game which is his athleticism and not his physical strength. At tackle he's instead been forced to bulk up which has made him even worse.

Wasted stupid pick. I felt like we reached for him at 18 and the proof is in the pudding. He hasn't been hurt, he's mostly been dense.

Can't disagree here. He's lost the explosiveness that characterized his rookie season and was terrible for several games in a row. Next season might be his last as a Cowboy.

On others I didn't agree...
Not Terrell Owens -
I think you're letting your feelings get wrapped up with this one. This guy clears zones for other players
and scores touchdowns. He's way over a thousand yards and he plays with heart. The drops have been bad and the off field stuff seemingly never ends, but cutting Owens is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I wish he were our FS, but he's not. The worst thing you can do though, is compare him with Newman. Henry has on occasion made teams pay for throwing at him and like Newman has been soid in run support. I think Newman and Henry are the best run-stopping tandem I've seen play in Dallas.

It's not his fault he was drafted and then they dumped the 2-TE offense. He's a good player, but he's no McNeil who is the OROY IMHO. Blame the front office that got too cute and obviously envious of New England's excellent TE situation.

I was a strong member of the "cut Burnett" group, but overall think he's really come around in his second year but he really needs more playing time. Put him in for James.

That would
rock and would probably rejuvenate our DE's, especially Spears. Problem is what do you do with
Ware, who is one of our top three on defense? If you put him on the line as a DE, he will likely wear down at only 260 lbs and you lose a lot of the flexibility which a player of his athletic ability can bring. If you rotate him with Canty, you're not getting what you paid for with the 11th pick overall. You could trade him for a 1st round pick, but I'd almost rather lose a limb than Ware.
