My List: Jadeveon Clowney (DE, South Carolina) and Khalil Mack (OLB, Buffalo).. To me these are the only 2 guys who I would be willing to trade up for..

Do you guys have anyone else in mind worthy to trade up for?

If they fall to #15, then yes; however, trading up multiple spots is rarely a good idea.

If they Cowboys have the 16th pick in each round of the draft, all 7 picks would have a trade value equal to the #5 pick in the draft.

Obviously what kind of deal you get for the trade is an important factor I just think those are two guys that are CLEARLY superior to the defensive players that will be around at 16. Especially with everyone here wanting to go DL in the 1st.. I don't think there is anyone worthy of that pick.. Give me Sutton in the 2nd and let him lose some weight and work under Marinelli.. Round 1 I don't see a DL worth taking that will be there at 16

This team is not one player away, so no. I would only trade for franchise QB of Andrew Luck's stature. Clowney only plays when he feels like it, and Mack played mostly against lesser competition.

I wonder if Jerry would trade down and take OT Taylor Lewan or Antonio Richardson

and get extra pick

I would prefer a trade down. I don't see much difference in the probability of success between the players that will be available between 10 and 30.

I have a feeling that Sutton might be a Drake Nevis clone. Very quick first step, but likely to have short arms and not overly powerful. He is likely to have problems getting off blocks if when he can't win with his first step.

if any of the following fell to 12/13/14.............
Greg Robinson
anthony barr
clowney
but i expect them gone in the top 6/7.

Guys at 16 i hope are there to choose from

Pretty much nailed it. Read Beasley leaning to staying in school.

I don't think Hageman or Ealy are top 20 talents.. Just my opinion

I believe both, (especially Hageman listed as a DT) will test excellently at the combine. May be touted to go before 15 when May gets here.

Yep, I don't think there is any question that Hageman has excellent physical talent. His question marks are lack of great production and inconsistency/effort.

In the first, Clowney is the only one I'd jump up big for.

He definitely dialed down the effort on a lot of plays this past year. Could be a preview of future effort. But if you hit with him, you've added the top RDE prospect since Mario Williams to go along with one of the top LT, WR, MLB, and C in a very short period of time.

Even if the team had information that things were worse with Tony than the public currently knows, I don't trade up for a QB. I'd draft Jimmy Garrapolo or Stephen Morris later and eat it this year. Put myself in position for Winston, Mariota, Hogan, or Hundley next year.

No one. I'd actually prefer a trade-down for an extra pick unless a major prospect fall into our laps.

I'm hearing that Aaron Donald will climb.
How far he will climb is really limited because of his size. The weight might be similar to Ratliff, but rather than being 6'4", he's only listed as six foot even. That's really, really small for an NFL DT.

Players worth trading up for in this draft (in the top 10) for the cowboys:

NONE

If there is any year of years to stay put or trade down a few spots and get some more picks it is this year.

This year there should be no trading up...unless we get a deal that is just too good to pass up...aka we rob the other guy instead of getting robbed ourselves.

so in other words, don't trade up
