Players You Forgot Were Ever Cowboys

And..... that drop was early in the game. Was it his fault Dallas lost? I don't think so.......

Wasn't really early. Smith's drop came in the third quarter of that game. Had he caught it, the Cowboys would have tied the game 21 up. However, I agree, his drop was not the biggest difference in that game IMO. To me, it was the PI calls and the Officials getting in the way of Waters in the run game. At one point, Demmas cost us a TD by preventing Waters from filling the hole on the Harris TD run in the 4th Quarter.

Craig Morton. He was the Starter for us before Roger. In fact, he was our starter in Super Bowl V. When Roger came back and beat him out, we traded Morton to the Giants for their number 2 overall pick. That pick would eventually become Randy White. Craig would later be traded to the Broncos, by the Giants and in Super Bowl XII, he was the starting QB for the Denver Broncos.

Morton was the first QB to ever start as QB for two different teams in two different Super Bowls and I believe he is still the only QB to have been the Starter for two different teams in each teams first Super Bowl appearance (Cowboys in SB V and Broncos in SB XII).

This is the thread where you name a player that you forgot ever played for the Cowboys, but if for some random reason you heard the name, you would say: "Didn't he play for the Cowboys at one time?"

I'll start: Barron Wortham, LB 2000.
Quincy Carter

Is this a trick question? How could list them if I forgot them?...Nice try pal!

Rumour has it they will both be back playing for us again, so we won't be forgetting about them for too long.

So another decade of mediocrity? Guess I better find an alternative for my football sundays.
