Not sure if someone could find a video of them talking about it but I did find it funny.

They were talking about who would stand out in the game. Remember this was prior to the game.

The playmaker said it would be Beasley. Said he is coming along and should have a big night. Which leads me to believe that it was more than speculation on his part, I think maybe he talked to the coaches or someone and they said they would be getting the ball to Beasley in certain goal line situations or something.

Faulk had to say Forte. Said he would run great against this defense and have a big night.

Playmaker turned out to be correct.

Faulk...not so much...Forte finished with 26 yards rushing...although to be fair he had 74 receiving yards.

---

Also in the post game interview It was clear that Faulk was not happy and I don't even know if he said more than 5 words after he did one question.

There are times I get wore out with fans constantly whining about everybody and their grandmother in the media is against the cowboys and hates the cowboys. I say this because when you have the few that actually fit that criteria it does not give them the same focus of it, if that makes sense.

By that I mean there are some that really do not care one way or the other about it, they are just doing their jobs yet they are called haters and so on just for them saying what they think even if it is without malice or bias...with Faulk it is not that case. Faulk flat out is the epitome of the cowboys hater in the Media....he is as much of a cowboy hater as Irvin is a Cowboy lover and that is saying a lot.

I agree about the fumble. But the intial thing Faulk was saying was that Forte was going to have a big rushing game against this defense.

26 Yards rushing.

The bigger thing that is a mystery really is...what is going on with The bears offensive line and play calling. Back to back games where they have had pitiful rushing numbers.

Just wonder how long that Coach will be there if they keep going like they have been going.

It's one thing when forte is out due to injury but I think he has been healthy the last two games at least.

I agree 100%, and I don't get Faulk's fury. He played for Indy and won a SB with the Rams. What's his beef with the Cowboys?

Agree about Faulk. And now that he's got that rep his hate will only grow because you know the emails, tweets, etc will be flowing in from Cowboys fans.

IIRC Faulk picked us to win the game. However, I agree he is one of the biggest Cowboys haters on TV.

Its hard to underestimate just how bad the Bears are. Of course, many of us did just that. Losing Brandon Marshall in the first half didn't help them at all.

I think it started with him taking the opposite approach from Michael Irvin when discussing the Cowboys and he just stayed with it when the Cowboys kept collapsing every year.

Then one year NFL Network went to Dallas to do a Cowboys game and Tony was supposed to do a sit down interview with Marshall Faulk and Tony backed out of the interview because he was supposedly getting treatment done on a previous injury, And I guess that didn't sit to well with Marshall.

I think Rich Dalyrmple was protecting Tony from some tough questions that were coming.

I don't like it when people say Mike is not a good commentator. He knows football. I listen to him all the time on pre & post games. He was spot on about Beastly.

Completely agree. A lot of the commentators that have the reputation I don't think are truly Cowboys haters, but Marshall Faulk absolutely is and is the #1 culprit. Because of that he is my least favorite commentator too.

i also loved how Faulk was essentially silent almost the entire time (he was forced to ask Romo a question) Romo was on set with NFLN after the game

dude looked like someone stole his teddy bear.. oh and the subtle underhanded diss from Romo about Faulk's clothing didn't even illicit a response.. you know that had to stick in his craw

I think it has something to do with the Cowboys upset over the Rams in I believe in Roy Williams rookie season.

He flattened Faulk, forced a fumble, and knocked him cold in that ball game in St. Louis. Not sure, but I think it might have happend 2x in that game. Does anyone recollect that particular ballgame?

If I'm Marshall Faulk, I'm embarrassed by my own behavior with Tony Romo sitting two seats over from me.

Why the media hates Romo I will never for the life of me understand. He is pretty much everything right in a professional athlete. He's all class, he's candid, affable, and never disrespects his opponents on the field or off.

People who don't know anything about football or don't have a rooting interest and just want to root for a good person- should choose Romo to wish well.

I also agree, but remember the narrative of anti-Cowboy bias is like an iceberg. Some of it is at the surface like SAS and Faulk but most of it is subtle and happens in the production rooms, editing rooms and writing rooms. It's the way things are presented comparatively to other tams that you really see it if you're paying attention.

Very well said! many of those media-types are vicious and ugly and I love seeing Marshall get upset with the crowd jeering him on those open sets,,, it happens a lot!

Marshall looked like he was in agony when Romo was sitting there for the postgame. I loved it.
