Playmaking defender needed

If we get vea and a good lb in the draft I would take a chance with Thomas. Otherwise he's not going to be a missing piece. Tank will not repeat and Irving isn't gonna stay on the field.

Gotta love the optimism... There's no reason to think Tank can't get 14+ sacks again or that Irving won't play more games.

Looks like he's a little more fiery than some make him out to be. What's the expression... can't judge a book by it's cover. Yeah, I'd like to see him get us deeper in the playoffs but I still put that on player execution. Would I like a HC who slaps his players upside the head on the sidelines and curses him out on national TV? No. Would I like a HC who holds the team accountable in the locker room and team meetings? Yes. Actually, I'd like a team that holds the team accountable on the field, sidelines and locker room.
surprisingly,Garrett seems to be up to the task. Now its time for the players to win.

Some think he's the missing link to success. Not saying he is or isn't but will say there are 24 teams who seem to have the same missing link. Does that make it better? no. Will making a change be the answer?Stay tuned. I'll stick with player execution being the key in 2018. it's what we have

Way to be a bummer man

I would love for them to but I'm going with the odds. Do you not remember how Irving was concussed? He destroyed cousins but in reality cousins ended up fine and Irving wasn't even capable of driving months later. He's a glass doll. Hope I am wrong.

I think this team is one playmaking defender away from a Super Bowl. That is why I wanted Earl Thomas. Do we have that guy on the roster today? Who can it be?
We're short two lb's with no depth at the position. Lee will miss games. Jaylon's still a question mark. Wilson inconsistent. It will take more than just Thomas.

Ok, I'm convinced. You're a bummer

ditto. We can actually do enough in the draft to fix the team. Richard goes along way to masking the short comings. The guy exudes swag and a belief in what is being taught. This coaching move is HUGE I tell ya! We are 3-4 players away..that said,it can be done. Never say never in todays NFL.

you are my "Coaching up buddy"

when i dont get motivated enough, i ll ask you.

just means i respect ya and believe what ya say.

Trouty is alwas on that list and Irvin (something) good poster, we just dont always agree but thats a good thing.

We need way more than 1. Defense started slow, allowed 30+ points in back to back games. While they are young, we do not know if or by how much they will gey better. Some will be better, some may regress like brown did last year. Others are changing positions again....byron. this defensive line needs to get nasty, lee cant do it by himself and stay healthy.

Gave you a like for everything not underlined. ;)

As to the underlined...

If we get Vita Vea.... D-Law and Irving will both have a stellar year.

:yourock:

It's your truth. That's what matters most... to you

And your opinion is that dlaw will become dware and Irving will be randy white. If I'm a bummer you're delusional. I'm going on the players histories and facts. You're going off nothing but hope.

I think the odds of getting Earl Thomas are good, who will be a playmaker. But the key is Irving and DLaw being on the field for 16 games and Maliek Collins being healthy. Taco Carlton will likely start next year and be an 8-10 sack player.

Jaylon Smith, Awuzie, Xavier Lewis and Jourdan Lewis will all be better with another year's experience.

Put all that together and you will get more defensive plays.

Who is Taco Carlton? Ha ha. In all seriousness I expect Taco to accidentally get about 3 sacks.

I think we are going to draft a DT/DE/SS and a middle LBer with our first 3 picks.

We need to get stronger up the middle of the defense.

Do that in this draft..

And it will have a bigger impact on W/Ls than a rookie WR.
