Playoff machine revised

Next week really is the season.........I played around with the generator and gave us a loss against the Lions just to see what would happen.

There were NO SCENARIOS I found where the Cowboys made the playoffs after losing to Detroit next week.

Only scenario where Cowboys got in the playoffs with another loss was against the Chargers (AFC team).

So, this is basically it folks. Cant lose another game to an NFC team and make the playoffs. Lions really are week 1 of the playoffs for us.

Yuup we have to beat the giants and hope for the bears to run the table against the north

If Dallas wins out, they are in unless tied with GB for a wildcard.

That might be true but that did happen wasn't that 2023 where they started off 10-0? They lost like 6 of the last seven and didn't we overtake them for the division which including the irony here is us beating them in the second game which gave us the tiebreaker and we were ended up after that game I think tie with them for the division lead after all the other stuff that happened so it has happened could it happen again I don't know probably not but it has happened recently the Eagles have had a collapse and did that very thing...

It's like the Cowboys even though it's a small percentage they did this in 2018 almost the exact mirror image

3-4 at the bye get amari go 3-5 Guess what happens They ended up going 7 and 1 down the stretch won a playoff game and got beat by eight points on the road by the Rams in the second round after that mess kind of feels like that right now getting that traction.. thing that pressure on the Eagles...

Like I said a few weeks ago. Dallas has a great shot at not just making the playoffs but overtaking the Eagles for the division.

Not a chance of catching the Eagles. The only possible losses for them are Chicago and Buffalo.

Yes, they would be ahead of Detroit in that scenario but not necessarily for a wildcard. There are other teams in the mix as well.

Losing to the Panthers, Cardinals and tying Green Bay killed the Cowboys playoff chances.

Yes there is some truth to that, however, there's still time and the Eagles look to be on their way down.

Playoffs are very possible but division is gonna mean eagles lose twice. We win out and we likely make the playoffs. Just got to win next week, and keep winning

Dallas cannot win the Division if the Eagles only lose 2. That would put the Eagles at 5 losses, which Dallas already has. Dallas winning out doesn’t change that. Both teams having 5 losses means Philly has 1 more win because of the GB tie.

Realistically, Philly will have to probably ho 2-4. Going 3-3 might do it, but Dallas would have to win out.
