It can absolutely be a 3 way tie between those teams. The 1,2 and 3 seed is between division winners. If Philly loses and Dallas wins, Philly wouldn't be a division winner. Only 1 division winner is possible

Oh $^#$#, completely forgot the divisional angle. You guys are both dead on. My bad.

Have zero faith do it does not matter much who they play, they will end up doing something stupid, their D cant stop anyone, Dak with either throw a pick or it will bounce off some ones hands, its like watching the same movie over and over and hoping its different and it never is
I get it.

I’m numb to it.

Dallas as the #2 seed may be the best case scenario for the Cowboys.

Wildcard round

#2 Dallas defeats #7 seed (GB, SEA, or DET)
#3 seed Vikes beat #6 seed Giants
#5 seed Eagles beat #4 seed Bucs

Divisional round

#2 seed Dallas beats #3 seed Vikes
#5 seed Eagles defeat #1 seed 49ers

Dallas hosts NFC Championship game against Eagles.
What would need to happen for Seattle to get in?

Pretty wild. I love this!

I know there will be many on here not wanting to play Rodgers or Brady. But you will always play a good team in the playoffs. We just have to hope we are up to the challenge.
I guarantee the team doesn’t care or even worry about who they play. Their only concern is getting better and play the best they can against whomever. Only losers are wrangling their hands over who the Cowboys play.

If the Giants had something to play for I would like our chances a lot more.

I know it's crazy and highly unlikely but what if all three divisional winners lose in the wildcard round? Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the Cowboys then host the divisional playoff game?

Yes in that unlikely scenario.

they could also host a playofff game if they make an NFCCG and one of the seeds below them also advances to the NFCCG

are you using reverse psychology here? I know you love your Cowboys, so is this your way to prepare yourself for another heartbreaking loss?

may I give you a thought to ponder?……LIFE IS TOO SHORT….LIVE IT TO THE MAX! DON’T HOLD BACK! HOPE IS FAR BETTER THAN DESPAIR!

now put that helmet back on and get back out there and win baby win…..BELIEVE!

I don’t see niners losing to the cardinals whatsoever. At best we’ll be 2 and maybe get 2 home games but we will likely get Rodgers in the first round then.

It's not that much of a reach when you consider ....if Packs get the last seed, they likely play the 49ers, Giants would play the Vikes and we play the Bucs.......... see, not much of a reach at all.
