If we want a chance at the division then we need the eagles to beat the giants.

If we want a chance at a wildcard, then it is easier if the giants beat the eagles and have the giants win the division. Since all we would have to do then is beat Phil and 1 of the other 3 against SD, NO, and wash.
By beating Phil it would knock them out.
It would end up like last year, win and your in against phil.

Pitts has now lost to KC, Oak, and Cleveland. Obviously they are not a playoff team at this point.

Boy, this doesn't look to good for us. Green Bay has a meaningless game against Arizona in week 17 and in week 16 the Giants have one against Minnesota. All our games are tough, we are going to have to earn our way in.

I don't think that Arizona GB game will be meaningless. There's a real chance them and Minnesota will be battling for the #2 seed that final week.

I think that it's going to come down to us beating the Eagles in week 17 for the division.

I don;t know why but I think that's what it's going to come down to.

I kept getting the Giants wildcard weekend...

that would be good for us. if we can get past Philly and NYG then we can beat anyone

Don't you mean you're rooting for the Giants? If the Giants beat the Eagles this week, we just have to beat the Commanders and Eagles to get in.

If the Eagles beat the Giants, we either need the Eagles to lose to someone else AND us, or we need the Giants to lose another one (if we win only the last two games and the Packers don't collapse).

I still havent decided between NJ/Phi. Maybe when game time rolls around and I see the craniums of Justin Tuck and Jacobs Ill have no choice.

Guys, I have played around with this thing and I am now 100% convinced that we want the Giants to win.

Why???

Because if the Giants win, all we have to do is win our 2 home games against SD and Philly and we are golden. (I was very generous and gave the Giants and Eagles no other losses).

However, if you run the same scenario with us winning our 2 home games and Philly beats the Giants (again, no other losses were given to either team), then we end up sitting home. WE WOULD HAVE TO WIN AT LEAST 1 ROAD GAME TO GET IN.


So to recap......if the Giants win Sunday, all we have to do is win our 2 home games and we are in the tournament. If the Eagles win, we will have to win either at New Orleans or at Washington (plus win our 2 gome games) to make the playoffs.

This is assuming we get no help.

Maybe........I am just very nervous about going to Washington in a must-win game. Yea, if we win we could win the division, but if we lose then we might not even go to the playoffs.

Considering we only beat Washington by 1 point in our house, I am not very confident about going into Fed Ex in a lose-and-go-home situation.


No matter what happens, these next 4 weeks are going to be fun to watch!!!

You have the Vikes beating the Gmen in order for us to win the division. Considering the Vikes may rest their starters for this game if they dont have anything to play for, I am not very confident they win.

I am pretending that we are going to get no help at all. If somebody along the way beats the Giants or the Eagles, GREAT!!!!!

However, we cannot plan on this happenning.
