This year the stars seem to be aligning for me to have the savings and availability to see our beloved Boys win a playoff game in Dallas.

I see that there are contingent ticket selling at stub hub before the playoff seeding is finalized. Has anyone gone this route before?

I want decent seats and I want to book my flight soonish but google isnt helping me a whole lot with how this works. Before I lay down some dough I wamted to see if any zoners have some sage advice.

Getting them early should save me money on the tickets as well as the flight, right?

You should have a guarantee on your tickets, in the event such a game doesn't come to fruition, you would be fully reimbursed...

So you should be fine...are there places selling tickets already?

I could also use some help as I'm planning on going to the divisional round assuming we still have our bye week.

Season ticket holders get pre-printed playoff tickets. They have an options tp pay them in full for 2 games, or what they call...pay as they play...meaning you sign up for them, and once the game is scheduled then they charge your credit card. If they do not play these games, then you can ask for a refund, or take the credit toward your next season tickets invoice.

However, they can list these tickets for sale early on stub hub and nfl ticket exchange. How that process works I am not sure. I lited mine before, but removed them and went to the game against the Giants instead. I assume you pay for the tickets, and it is on hold until the event is scheduled.
You will not be charged until it is scheduled would be the right way to do it, or possibly refunded.

Best believe I signed up for "pay as we play!" I am hopeful that being in the playoffs isn't going to be a once every 5 years thing anymore.

I've never bought playoff tickets until we knew our opponent or date , seeding, etc. I use either stubhub or Ticketmaster .

i don't have to book airfare so that isn't an issue but once the game is announced you shouldn't have any trouble on brokers market getting a ticket.

Remember the Cowboys have the Party Pass too which is cheap but without a seat. We walked up for Lion playoff game in 2014 and got those for $39.

I already booked my airfair tickets for both games using my Southwest points. If I have to cancel my points go back to my card. Airfair was 260.00 roundtrip!

I bought first hand tickets last time when they went on sale through Ticketmaster. I would suggest you wait for that route and not pay the up charge for Stubhub. You have to buy as soon as the tickets go on sale because they sell out quickly.

I did this for playoff games in 2009 and 2014. They do have good seats available without all the price premiums for stubhub.

The Cowboys website will announce when tickets go on sale to the general public. That is when you buy!

Are you sure there are good seats available?

Yes. They have good seats available during that sales window. If you want upper level seats near 40 yard line, they were selling for around $90 back in 2014 for the Lions game.

Do they have better seats than that?

Section 200-300 between the 20s?

I bought playoff TICKET - 1 - about 10 am before Detroit game.

There were scalpers in the area near the stadium and in the Cowboy lots.

I already paid and received the playoff tickets c134. I haven't listed them yet on stub hub or ticket exchange yet. Trying to get an idea what to price it at considering face value is 350.
