Why are we suddenly out of the playoffs?

Because we play the saints? Or because we play two other teams on the schedule that we have already beaten?

Not conceding to the saints, if we win our last two games, we'll win the division if the Eagles lose to Denver or San Fransisco. Very possible.

They've flip flopped with who was going to win this division all year.

The Giants lost 4 games in a row... but if you look at their schedule, those were "playoff teams".

We haven't lost to a bad team all year, and the biggest gap was 10 points (which i still actually blame on the refs). Yet some how we are garbage. We beat the Eagles yet we're somehow garbage?

Every team in our division has a hard final 3 games.

The Giants are 2 games behind Philly, with Philly having the tie breaker, so they are pretty much out of the race. They also have the tie breaker on us. And if we beat philly we'll have the tie breaker on them.

If we beat washington and philly (which we've done), its not unlikely for us to go to the playoffs.

Those who have given up do not see that.

I don't know if the Cowboys will do it or not but I do know they are capable of going out and winning these games.

We must win 3 in a Row to make playoffs, otherwise we must win 2 out of three and giants must lose 1 of remaining games.

Im thinking 10 wins will get us in.

Maybe not though.

Giants need to lose another game.

They play Washington - Carolina- and Minnesota.

I imagine Minny is going to sit their players out in that game.

Its between us and the Giants though.

If we could pull off a miracle vs the Saints, beat the Skins, then we could have a shot at Philly for the division.

We haven't been blown out yet so there is still hope that this team can gel or "peak" in the nick of time...

That's true. I'm still holding out hope (what little I've got left!) for this season

You think we are going to beat the Saints on the road, the resurgent skins in FedEx and then the eagles again? Not going to happen.

We will get smashed by the Saints. We might beat the Skins or the Eagles, but not both. This team is just too weak to get it done.

Is there a chance we can still win the division? Mathematically, yes. But when the doctor starts talking about your mathematical chances, time to call a priest.

Why? I mean have you really thought this through. How good do you really think the Saints are? This aint the 1992 Cowboys or 1984 49ers we're talking about here.

Skins will be a hand full, but they also will be trouble for the Giants. They could beat us both!

Giants are not winning out. Absolutely positively will not happen. If I had to bet, I'd guess 1-2 with a much better shot at 0-3 than 3-0.

Who the hell are the Eagles? One of our 3 road wins. Yes that's right we did beat them in Philly, yet we now have no shot to beat them at home?
Because they beat us up in last years finale, we no have no shot to beat them this month.
We put 44-6 to bead last month with our victory in Philly. If that last game is for all the marbles and I'm guessing it will, they will be as concerned with us as we will be with them.

OMT- The Eagles don't exactly have walk overs these next two weeks with S.F. and DENVER.

...nobody is saying that this team is garbage...but they've only beaten two teams with winning records at the time they played them and only one currently has a winning record...that says a lot about them...

...Dallas continues to find a way to lose games even at home, where they need to hold serve...

...we've all been iffin every year since 2006 and every year we witness the same results...this team has'nt beaten a playoff contender since the beginning of November...GB, NY, SD have all come calling since then and we all know the results...they just barely got by Washington...

...have'nt lost to a bad team means what exactly?...there won't be any bad teams in the playoffs...this ain't a roulette wheel where eventually you'll win if you play long enough and even if it was Dallas now has to hit the right number three times in a row to control their own destiny...anything can happen for OTHER teams in the league, not the Cowboys...and when was the last time Dallas beat Philadelphia at the end of the year, at home or away?...06-07-08...all losses down the stretch...

...and go to the playoffs for what????...so they can show how they can't match the intensity, focus, desire, preparation or consistency of the real contenders...why bother?...oh, right...anything can happen...

The Gints play Washington - Carolina- and Minnesota. Sounds more like 2-1 than 1-2 or 0-3 . . . Realistically speaking.

Realistically we are probably looking at 9-7. We're not beating New Orleans, and Philly is playing better than when we first played them. Besides with this team we'll beat New Orleans and lose to the Commanders. I'd say we go 1-2 over the next 3 games . . . Realisticaly speaking.

If the we and the Gints are at 9-7, the Gints hold the tie breaker so we are on the outside looking in.

Now the games have to be played so this is just my opinion. But realistically, if we lose next Saturday this team will not make the playoffs.

2005. They last swept us in 2006.

Everyone is up in arms over this game because they've beaten us the last three times we faced them in Dec. 2006, 2007 and 2008.

But we've beaten them the last time we've played them at home, week 2 of 2008 and of course the last time we've played.

By the way, the Saints average 38 points at home, and we barely score 22 points on the road. And they have not locked up home field advantage, so they still have something to play for . . . . .

We're not beating the Saints.

Really. What is the Giants record? 7-6. And they are 1-6 in their last seven. Yet you think 2-1 is more likely than 1-2. With two of those games on the road.

If I recall the eagles had won their previous 2 prior to our last game and we're coming off a blow out of the Giants.
They were a 3 point favorite against us and to hear people speak of the match-up prior to, you'd think we were a 14 point dog

I can assure you of one thing. If our last game with them is for the division, they will not be a 3 or more point favorite against us.
