Playoffs

Both are a longshot but getting to 5-7 would make the last 4 doable.

Romo has to think about coming back for December too imo if we get to 5-7.

Absolutely! IF we get to 5-7 and get even a little help along the way, maybe were only 2 games behind the pack.......

I hope the "protect Romo under glass" crowd changes their tune.

Strangers things have happened. :D

Not really thinking about it the possibility but hey if we can get to 7-7 with 2 games to go I'll be taking a much closer look at the chances we may have.

Until then I just want to see this team playing quality football.

We were 3-4 in 1990, lost 3 straight to be 3-7, then won 4 straight to 7-7. 2 games left. Then lost the 2 final games [Aikman injured, Laufenberg at QB].

Now winning another 4 with a more overall talented team. And 6 in a row. Yes it's possible. It's not like other teams haven't won 6 or more in a row to finish a season.
1993, we lost 1st 2 games without Emmitt. Then won 7 in a row, lost 2 [thanks Leon]. Then wasa MUST win out scenario, and they did 5 games to win the EAst and home field advantage. Thanks to one of the gutsiest performances in league history by Emmitt.

So yes, win streaks like this can happen. We just need help this time, as opposed to it being all in our own hands. Still a very far out chance, but it can happen.

That was soooo frustrating. Always wondered what might have been had Aikman not gone down. We had a shot on the last weekend and could've been in as an 8-8 team.

I'm one of the more positive posters here, but I can't get my hands around beating the Saints and Colts without Romo.

Now it looks as if we'll also have to beat the eagles without Romo.

That's something I've been chewing on........how could we not let and or Romo not insist on playing in Indy or at least against the eagles if we beat New Orleans.

I'm more concerned with our defense against the Eagles, and Vick, than our offense. But yes, without Romo, still a very tall order to fill.
