Good post, erod.

You wonder why it took so long to get Dez in the slot.
I do have some hope that this bunch can get to the playoffs. If we can get and keep players healthy, I think we can capture the division.
The Skins look pathetic. And as Jaws and other analysts have said Foles really hasn't played anyone. His numbers are against crappy defenses.
Not that our defense is better, but we are getting take-aways, and I like that about it. If we can just get Ware healthy and Lee back and Mo back, I think we can get to the playoffs and, maybe, win a home game.
Yeah, yeah, I know. The Cowboys have been in this situation before and have let us down.

A fan can hope can't he?

So he took a a top five offense before he got there to a 'top five' offense, that deteriorated in red zone scoring? Pretty impressive.. I especially love the back up QBs he had us rolling in and the horrendous OL picks.. Brad Johnson and Jon Kitna... Or Felix Jones as a RB and the Roy Williams trade for 3 draft picks to get his struggling offense kicking.. So let me guess, all good belongs to Garrett, but all bad throw it on somebody else...

I said he was calling the plays in those games you wanted to brag about. Haven't said anything about draft picks.

So he took a top five offense to become a top five offense that never had trouble moving the ball before he came that got gradually worse in red zone scoring, to the point that Jerry just demoted him this year frm play-calling duties?

Saying Jerry demoted him from play calling duties is just you believing what you want to believe. Teams change OC's all the time but in Dallas It's gotta be something bigger. Saying they got worse in the red zone and blaming Garrett is doing the same thing. All you have to do is ignore the drop off in play of Barbar then conveniently forget that the O-line started breaking down and whammo ya got what ya want. You sound like one of them guys that reads all that crap they put out in the Dallas media about how the evil Jerry Jones ruined your Cowboys LOL Yall got ya self a nice little bubble with your own reality.

No, denying that Garrett was demoted is actually believing what you want to believe... That was his 'MO' and he, prior to being demoted, and his not coming out and saying it from t very beginning. But yeah, I guess this top five offense just needed a new coach for the sake of it. I guess Garrett fired his own brother the year after making him passing game coordinator because he didn't want to be OC anymore...

Don't you think it says allot that the locker room hasn't blown up with people pointing fingers and blaming like they're doing in Washington right now. And the heat is allot hotter in Dallas. And if he had this big demotion why did I see him standing on the sidelines calling plays into Romo covering his mouth with a playbook 2 days ago a week after the NO game in one of the most important games of the year this week? That dog won't hunt. Isn't more likely that they agreed the offense needed some new wrinkles to catch some teams off balance? Like Romo using hand signals that first game against the Giants and Dez moving around in the slot this week? Why is it so hard for people to believe they sit down at a table and decide whats best for the team? That just wouldn't fit anyone's skewed image of what goes on behind closed doors would it?
