Sure, I agree its the rule. But there is no question that Jaylon didn't make an intentional hit on the QB's head and no question that it didn't affect the play.

Intentionality or wether it “affected the play” are 1) not part of the rule; and 2) not a determining factor on whether a flag should be thrown Donkey Boy.

The problem is we have these ignorant fans that have no basis for their understanding but then heehaw around feeling indignant believing the refs have conspired against them yet again.

From what I can see, the Cowboys have just shy of $28M in cap space this year. If ever there was a time to unload a player and bite the cap bullet it is now. Can't see paying J.S. next year with the cap dropping about $22M. The hit would be about $24M this year, but it could be worth it. Besides, it's Jerry's money and he got the Cowboys into this mess. Thankfully Crawford is done after this year.
