Please lets keep things in prespective

Also a big chunk of posters are saying the win is meaningless because it was against the 49ers. But lets look at the last six games SF has played this season:

Lose to the Seahawks by 3
Lose to the Rams by 2
Lose to the Cardinals by 3
Lose to the Colts by 3
Lose to the Commanders by 2
Lose to the Cowboys by THIRTY

This. Everyone seems to hate enjoying things. Lol

Good stuff, fellas.

Stoked for the win.

But when we’re 4-3, then I’ll start to get dem giddy heart murmurs.

In the mean time, let’s enjoy Risen straddle that pole, center stage. You wont believe what he’ll do for a $0.25!

Yes we looked great yesterday and i know after any win alot of people love to say we are back and we are so great etc. But people keep in mind the teams we have beat have a combined total of 4 wins. Just keep that in mind. This team has a ways to go still. We have to take certain victories in perspective. This team has many many flaws that good teams have exploited and good teams will continue to exploit.

Teams we have beat are 4-17.

Context.

It's nice to get a win, but it doesn't mean all of this team's problems are solved either.

It just won't happen overnight.

The fall to 2-3 didn't happen overnight, and getting out of that hole won't either.

No matter how much we might wish that it did.

I agree some fans suffer from bipolar disorder and after wins it's SB Baby and after losses it's cut everyone.

I think we're a couple years away still. Our secondary was just overhauled and we need AT Least one more defense draft plus time for guys to develop. That noted, our offense is something to admire when it's clicking and a good stretch of games at the right time and...

If you're even on this site there are plenty here that "keep things in perspective"... BTW, no matter who we beat and how long our win streak, there are always resident devisive trolls/haters here who want nothing more than for us to lose. Nothing matters. Some would argue and complain away a SB. It's just part of this site.

I can go next door and whoop my neighbors rear and toss his kids around. Doesn't make me a certicertified home invader. He's unarmed and his kids are 4 feet tall.

I agree let's keep things in perspective..we beat the niners.

I've seen very few posts exclaiming we're destined to win the SB following this win. However, the team did what they're supposed to do: beat up on a lesser team and take care of business. Next month will tell us more but the team that showed up yesterday doesn't lose both the Rams/Packers games, maybe neither. We're definitely still alive.

Winless giants beat Broncos.

Broncos DIDNT take care of business.

Winless 49ers lost to Cowboys.

Cowboys DID take care of business.

At work, when you perform expected duties you usually don’t get lauded for it.

That’s this!

Nothing more.

The niners have been playing everyone tough this year! Lost their last five by three points or less. Yeah they were winless I got it but that was no easy win.

While I agree that we have a ways to go, there is nothing wrong with enjoying the win from yesterday. It was the first game we had our starting LBers on the field and they both looked pretty good. That was a decent to good DL we faced yesterday and totally embarrassed them, that's a good sign. We didn't commit any stupid penalties that I recall that killed drives, that is a good sign. The team is rounding into form. We beat some good teams last year, we will beat good teams this year. In fact, I am going to call it now.. We go undefeated in this next 5 games. We will be 8-3 after Thanksgiving's game.

Here's some perspective. I'm a fan. I enjoy seeing my team win. I'm not paid to wring my hands over next week's opponent starting 5 minutes after this week's game ends. I have the pleasure of savoring a dominating win over another NFL club, whether that team was 0-6 or 6-0, because I'm just a fan.

Try it. You may find you can actually enjoy wins without worrying about "perspective" and things over which you have no control. I'll let Garrett, his staff, and the players worry about that stuff. They're paid to do it.
