Please lets keep things in prespective

It's a good thing some of you don't work for Make a Wish foundation. "Well Timmy, we are so happy we got to help you meet your favorite sports hero and you got spend all day with your favorite team, but don't forget.....you still have cancer. Have a great day!"

Yes we looked great yesterday and i know after any win alot of people love to say we are back and we are so great etc. But people keep in mind the teams we have beat have a combined total of 4 wins. Just keep that in mind. This team has a ways to go still. We have to take certain victories in perspective. This team has many many flaws that good teams have exploited and good teams will continue to exploit.

Prespective? I may need a perscription for that,,,

Also a big chunk of posters are saying the win is meaningless because it was against the 49ers. But lets look at the last six games SF has played this season:

Lose to the Seahawks by 3
Lose to the Rams by 2
Lose to the Cardinals by 3
Lose to the Colts by 3
Lose to the Commanders by 2
Lose to the Cowboys by THIRTY
That is a good work up, per usual.

To the pit of misery with you, sir. Dilly, dilly.

Where is that, you ask?

Stay tuned. Should the Cowboys lose again this season, if you are here, you will already be there...
:lmao: that little 'dilly-dilly' weasel sitting on the right flank of the king dilly-dillyer,, kinda looks a little bit like a young Paul Simon,,, er,,,sortao_O

The O.P. points out certain stark truths as in " you are what you're record sez' you are",,, although the 'knowing' part of why a couple of outcomes turned unfavorably against us in the end lessens the sting of defeat,,, er,,,somewhat,,,it's still a whopping check mark in the loser column, and that's what hurtso_O
( there's a heap big pile of type A alpha's on the board who just don't like losing:mad:)

Legit LOL'd.

Thanks for keeping us all in check.

Haha.
Ever notice how our more gifted fellows have a capacity for nuance only if it presents an opportunity to **** on the team? If there's a win they'll break out the abacus to tell you why it doesn't matter but if half the team caught dysentery at half time they'd be blaming the waterboy.

Never piss on a celebration, never know when you're going to get the next one. But you correctly point out that there are still areas of concern, specifically tackling and getting consistent interior pressure on QB. But Cowboys are still struggling with finishing. Finishing tackles, sacks, etc.
Great post has always been my complaint just better said.

The future is unknown. That we can exploit.

"....And oh ya, give us back your candy cane, sugar is bad for you!"

This is reason to feel optimistic. Great and more importantly, a VERY VALID point!
