Update: The doctor just called, and he wants someone from the family to be there at 5 PM. This doesn't sound good.

He is doing a little better today. His white blood cell count is slowly but surely going back up, and the swelling in his pancreas is going down.

GREAT NEWS: They took him off of the respirator as he can breathe on his own now. He is improving a lot.

Man oh man. What a damn roller coaster.. He started going into respiratory failure, so they had to put him back on the respirator.

I hope things are better by now. I got your back in regards to prayer...

Things are worse now. The bacterial infection in his pancreas is in his blood stream now. Even if he pulls through this he'll never be able to eat normally again. Feeding tube for life.. Therefore it may be best just to let him die comfortably.
