Red is playing competitive winning football without a starting QB and with maybe the worst Defense and terrible DC in NFL. Enough said.Next year after the pieces to the defense and Oline are fixed and Red gets a real DC we will be probably the best team in NFC. Its coming.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but am I the only won who realizes that this team was a couple of lucky breaks away from losing to both the Gints and Colts, and if not for some lucky bounces and drops by the Saints, they would have murdered us?

Ur missing the point.

Good points. Garrett has done a tremendous job of making the team competitive under the most impossible circumstances. It's like someone taking over for the Cards midseason and seeing them beat the Pats.

And look at the teams we've played as well. These aren't joke teams. They're well coached, disciplined, tough, smart teams. Eagles, Indy, Giants, Saints....All are expected to go deep in the playoffs and we've either beaten them or took them down to the last minute.

We did have some luck to win those but we also have a lot going against us right now also.

You create lucky breaks and bounces, and well coached teams turn those things into victories...

In a league were the talent on teams are so close, games turn on luck.

I agree with one exception. If ur a Bill Belicheck coached team u just crush the competition.

Yeah, we were also a a couple lucky bounces from having a winning record under Wade. But you don't want him back do you?

You can only judge what was happened, you can't judge what might've happened

What sort of alternate universe did I wake up in where juck is the voice of reason?

I was really glad Collinsworth kept repeating how the "offense has shrunk" with Kitna on the field for the morons who think he is giving Romo a run for his money. The step down really showed up against an aggressive defense last night.

We also missed Dez Bryant and the outside threat he posses to opposing defenses. It's clear Austin and Williams aren't the deep threat Dez is.

You're missing my point. Yea we are winning, yes it's under Garrett. Are we winning because of JG? Doubtful.

With a couple of different breaks early in the year the players don't quit and we are probably a 3 loss team right now. Why would I want Wade gone?

At this point, no I don't want Wade back, but other than getting some effort out of the players - even if it's not consistent - JG hasn't done anything super special to turn this team around besides getting a few breaks. That's why I don't think it's fair to judge JG based on his record at this point.

And the Cowboys were one fumble and one interception away from being 5-0 under Garrett. The game of football is a game of inches and plays and that's why any given Sunday, the worst team can win and the best team can lose.

After a loss, fans prefer the half-empty approach ..

Andy Reid was slobbering all week prior to this game. Who couldn't defend a 40 yard field? Seriously.

The half full approach is why Wade was here for so long and nothing ever changed, including personnel.

Hey I'm happy with Kitna, he's doing well for what he is. However it was getting annoying hearing people make him into something he isn't (which was really just backdoor shots at Romo) based on team results.

Same could be said for the Saints in that game. They were lucky to win.

no, I think you're missing the point, this team isn't one or two players away from competing for a championship. Four of the offensive line need replacing, the defensive line is a bigger problem than the secondary, they just don't get enough consistant pressure. Dallas needs one or two safeties.

Dallas lucky to beat the colt and the Giants because both teams made huge mistakes,

And from what I seen after the game with Choice asking for a freakin autograph from a dog killer and the lovefest between these two teams after the game is sickening, we're suppose to be arch enemies, there's alot more going on with this team than wins and losses, the culture of this team SUCKS..

And the worst is Jason Garrett with a big freakin grin on his face at the press conference, buddy, you just lost to a division rivilry at home, what are you smiling about!!!!!

That is true, but they are playing better. At least better than the two games that they totoally folded in.

Of course they easily could have been 4-2 or 5-1 before Tony went down and Wade (and the other coaches) lost the team. Every one of those losses in that 1-5 stretch were by a touchdown or less....same as the home game they just lost. The expectations were so high that those loses were obviously much more disappointing.

I see progress but am trying to not use those two collapse games as the main data points for comparing..
