Diggs and Wilson look like they chug NyQuil before the games. Sit those losers down and say put out or be benched.

Murray needs to sit. James takes all his snaps and lets hope Overshown comes back.

Mazi gets one last shot.

Williams and Kneeland sit. I would move Osa outside and give Mazi and Thomas more work inside.

I’m sure they have people monitoring 31 other practice squads . I mean $ is thrown around in that business surely monitoring practice squads falls under someone’s responsibilities

I expect all 32 teams have someone monitoring PS players.

Y'all have to keep in mind that these are the the practice squads of yesteryear. Under the new rules you get up to 16 on your PS. But you can protect four guys each week.

The new rules make it so that you can't even poach the best 124 players on PS in the league.

I don't know that you are going to get much out of other team's PS at this point -- maybe someone who you liked as a UDFA or someone you had in camp and has some knowledge of your system ... but there are no diamonds in the rough out there.

Steward was a PS poach wasn’t he ? He’s been at least serviceable as a CB certainly no worst than Elam who Dallas has to trade for . Rochelle as well was PS poach I believe

The issue is if you sign a guy off a PS he has to be signed to the 53 man roster. So you better be right since you have to cut one of your guys. That’s why it’s rare till late in the year usually

Those guys are on practice squads for a reason

Also, decent linebackers usually are good for special teams also which may mean these guys are below average LBs and below average ST.

But sure, if some team is totally stacked on their 53 and has a LB that could play, being em, but don’t get your hopes up.

Juanyeh Thomas.. you can find players anywhere if you know how to scout.

That, not only are you only as good as the bottom of your roster, most times, it also makes sense to acquire guys suited for what you're trying to do.

S/CB Israel Mukuamu got released recently by the team who took him after the Cowboys made late cuts a few weeks ago to make room for other scrubs who got brought in, so he's available. Why haven't the Cowboys resigned him at least the our practice squad? Mukuamu is better than most of the scrubs we currently have.

I think we’d be fine in releasing Murray or Demone Clark. Two guys that are physically gifted, but completely devoid of any instincts to play linebacker in the NFL. I’d rather roll the dice on a guy that most teams aren’t sure about yet.

The problem with PS players is in most cases you know they aren’t ready. That’s why they are on a PS. So you are betting on the future. Besides that both those vets you would still have to pay abd Jerry don’t like paying players on other teams roster
