Poison Ivy sounds like a blessing when compared to the guy who was skinny dipping and when he put his shorts back on had a deadly spider in them and bite him on his manhood. :laugh2:

Leg is getting back to normal. Just a shade bigger than the left one now. Got some rash creme and that's working well too.

I swear by Zanfel - it's the best treatment I've found. It cost around $30.00 for one tube, but it works. You rub the ointment on the area until it stops itching - there are small sand like pieces in the stuff, so it feels really good when applying it.

It stops the itching fast and stays away for awhile. Also helps dry it out.

So you didn't get the shot?

You *****.

The bioavailability of oral steroids is really good. You often only resort to shots if it is a tendon or a joint you are trying to treat. For rashes, pills are usually fine and usually much more potent overall than the creams when used in appropriate dosages.

Once the fire is under control, the steroid creams are useful for the final stages. They actually are really soothing. Glad that your leg is better.
