Police report coming on Santonio Holmes incident
Posted by Mike Florio on March 29, 2010 12:02 PM ET
In her lawsuit against Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes, Anshoenoe Mills alleges that the Orlando Police Department failed to prepare a formal police report after Mills complained to an officer that Holmes threw a drink that cut her under the eyebrow.

That could be changing.

OPD spokesperson Barbara Jones tells us that "the report has not been completed in the system," which implies strongly that a report is coming. Which implies strongly that the matter has not been closed.

We've separately learned that Holmes will contend that, while he was indeed present at the time of the incident, another person threw the drink at Mills.

Neither the Steelers nor Holmes have commented on the situation.

Hey, remember when people used to call the Cowboys a half-way house? Funny how you don't hear that about the Steelers what with the multiple rape, assault & battery allegations and the old team doctor being caught with several hundred thousand dollars worth of roids.

And the Steelers are becoming the NFL's new cesspool.... "Pittsburgh welcome in your new starting CB!!! PAAACCCMAN JOOONNESS!!!!"

Holmes has already has several incidents involving violence and women, so if he gets hit with this I suspect there will be a lengthy suspension involved.

The Steelers drafted him knowing he was a headcase and already had 3 children while still in college. But yet the media keeps repeating they value character above all else over and over and over again, so I guess it has to be true.

happened not to long ago, they just announced it on nfl network and holmes tried to intimadate woman not to press charges, so now steelers look liek their crumbling,

yeah, no more superbowls for awhile hopefully and we can catch them maybe and pass them up in super bowl wins;
