I don't like the inside linebackers that Dallas will be choosing from in this draft. I do see some offensive line talent for our mid-round picks. I think offensive line is the number one priority. I wish they would take three of them in the first four picks.

Dallas better get a young LT on this team, fast. Watching Adams play with no hands and one arm is an indictment on the guys playing behind him.

Edit: 3/5 first picks would be good. S and DE need help, too.

You said Anthony Spencer couldn't play DE in a 3-4, but you think Roy can play ILB in a 3-4?

Wow.

You had me fooled bro.
he says dumb things all the time like my favorite "Felix Jones runs with more power than Clinton Portis".

but to the poll, Safety without question.

Thanks for clearing that up, I was confused as to what this might be counted toward.

Which do you think is the team's greatest position need (GPN) during the draft? Your choice doesn't necessarily have to be the best player available (BPA) for any given pick/selection. <Poll will be added momentarily>

Well, I messed up the poll! Here are the choices (if a mod would be so kind as to add..: ):
  • Quarterback
  • Running Back
  • Full Back
  • Tight End
  • Wide Receiver
  • Center
  • Guard
  • Left Tackle
  • Right Tackle
  • Defensive End
  • Defensive Tackle/Nose Tackle
  • Outside/Inside Linebacker
  • Cornerback
  • Free Safety
  • Strong Safety
How come general manager and head coach aren't on the list?

The explanation for why general manager was exempt is simple. It's a draft, remember? If threatened, Jerry Jones would flee to Canada, thus making him automatically exempted. duh! And Wade Phillips had already been drafted which made him an untouchable too. Unfortunately for him, he had been stationed at Camp Cupcake for his basic training, but was summarily deemed unfit for duty.

They thought he was too soft and easygoing. Poor guy. :(

;) :)

so you are happy with Gurode freelancing the snap? He is often early or late. Then in the shotgun, he is like a blind virgin.....all over the dang place. His snapping issues definitely disrupt the timing of our offense.

We need a legit backup C, someone who will push Gurode into fixing his flaws. I know he wasn't in my latest mock....but he has been in my other ones. We need to get Eric Wood, Louisville in this draft. He is a student of the game, studying Olin Kreuntz religiously. He plays with nastiness and doesn't like to lose battles.

Am I fine with Gurode? He's one of the better centers in the league. Of course I'm fine with Gurode. The poll was about "greatest position need," not getting a backup.

Greatest need? LT/OL.

The teams that exposed us are teams with quick defensive lines or attacking defensive strategies. That means you need competent offensive linemen who can pick up the blitz and speed rushers.

The Cowboys have a bunch of lumberers, and older ones at that. We need to get better on the offensive line, starting with a replacement for Flozell "False Start" Adams.

ILB is the only position where we could draft a starter--unless Roy Williams leaves or changes positions, in which case safety moves up.
