I've made it well-known that, in my opinion, Owens will never be inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor, but some do not share the same view. My curiosity led me to wonder, "What if those who have a deep affection for Owens thought he would have a chance of being placed in the Ring--would they be willing to wait until AFTER someone 'more deserving than him' went in before him?"

I've gotten my answer. Sorry if it offends some, but that's life sometimes.

Well, the thing that held me up was the way you posed the question.

If both players are ever enshrined in the Ring of Honor, which player do you think should be inducted first

If both players are ever enshrined in the ring of Honor? Sorry DE, but I don't see TO going in at all. You're question assumes an acceptance that TO should even be considered. I had a hesitation with that.

TO has been a Cowboy for 18 games. He'll be a cowboy for maybe 50 or so more TOPS. Not enough for consideration even if we win a SB.

On the other hand, Pearson is (IMO) #1 on the list of guys who should be there...so I just said screw it and clicked that choice.

By the way, I'm not a T.O. hater. I'm actually glad we have him. He's a difference maker. However, one season does not put you in the Ring of Honor. Neither would 4 or 5.
