the one you missed, fans over reacting.

Oh no! We're not 2-0 and we just lost against one of the better teams in the league! We're horrible and need to cut everyone.

I was as pissed as anyone Sunday night, but I'm cooled off now, and think this team will be just fine moving forward.

Especially if our Oline continues to protect like they have been. Wow.

See, I would have a strong tendency to agree with out if it weren't for the fact that Dallas has made a habit of losing if garbage fashion over the last couple years. Sunday was more of it.

Its not the results, its how they got there.

If Dallas would have had a hard fought game where they played their ***** off and played sound football and lost by 2, I could live with it. A hard fought loss is nothing to be ashamed of.

But, that wasn't the case. Dallas once again shot itself in the foot and caused itself a game. Can't even really count how many times that would be in the last year alone. No less than 4 to be sure.

Its become a trend and its disgusting. I don't think people are so upset with the results but rather how they came about.

Nice sig by the way. My favorite Busey line comes from Black Sheep:

I could go over to your mama's, and light a small fire in her panties!

Actually, one of the primary problems is poor drafting.

Carpenter
Spencer
Jenkins
Spears

all 1st rounders without 1st round ability.

Jenkins and Spears are good players. Spencer is too early to call.

Carpenter...well

Pretty obvious whats wrong and it doesnt require alot of thought:

1) Romo's turnovers

2) Bad defense

well he's right that Spears doesn't have 1st round ability though.

You left off "We haven't had a rough tough punch-you-in-the-mouth defense since 1995"

That's the REAL problem

I really don't know since I pay no attention to the....chiefs(i think that's who he plays for). but I doubt he did cause I haven't heard his name since the draft.

Simple. Jerry as GM. Great owner, overbearing GM. But it is what it is so all we can do is either;

A.)Learn to live with it
B.)Be a fan of a different team
C.)Pool together a few billion and try a takeover
D.)Wait for Jerry to pass it on to Stephen in which case see A, B, & C

I'm talking about the hysterical, overreacting fans.

My pick was naturally "all of the above", but I do think the poll was tilted in that direction.

If I had to pick one above all the others, it would have to be Jerruh's being an egotistical maniac, running off JJ, micro-managing the team, & needing to be the ONLY Alpha Dog on the yard. A recipe for disaster.

My other pet-peeve is with those fans who seem willing to accept a certain level of mediocrity, thereby continuing to line Jerruh's fat pockets.
Some have seemed to lose sight of who we are, & are ready to WILLINGLY accept whatever poop Mr Jerruh wants to throw at us.

I'd agree with the above post if outcomes like the Giants game were unique. But its not the fact that we lost, its the WAY we lost thats disturbing. I don't understand why "average" seems to be OK with some fans.

We're the Cowboys- anything but average, & we SHOULD demand nothing less. We may not always get it, but we have to expect it.

It comes down to just having the players playing better...

Its not like we have been out schemed......

Its not like we are not prepared IMHO.

The players just have to execute their tasks....bad coverage...unable to beat one on one pass block.....bad decisions that cause turnovers....etc....

Its on the players...

But problem with the Cowboys? What problem? its still too early :)

We win the SB....no problems.....we lose.....there are problems....but we wont be alone ...31 other teams that failed to win the SB will have problems.....just some bigger then others.

It's not just about this season, it's about 13 in a row and the one single thing the Dallas Cowboys have in common for those 13 years of futility in the Play-Off department is Jerry "L" Jones.

I see the poll was missing an option to pick the fans. That would have been mine. Instead I went with the last one.

Yeah it's our fault...that's BS unless you count blindly supporting Jerry Jones and I am guilty.

Many died hard through this 13 years and it's been a long hard road to travel with Jerry Jones.

Up untill this season I gave him the benefit of the doubt but that was just wishful thinking.

When you look back on the debacles of Jones over the last 13 years it's easy to see the mentality that this Dallas team has adapted.

Our Team mentality mirrors Jerry and as long as he is the example of leadership everyone involved will follow including the player personel and some fans.

Weak minds leading weak minds get led into weak mindedness.
