1k yards rushing isn't what it used to be. It used to mean 66 ypg. Which also isn't impressive...Congrats to TP. He nudged 1,005 yds, for the season.
Enough to call it good season. Still made the mark, with makeshift OL and ongoing injuries.
With post season on horizon, that number will surely go up.
Its a different league , no more bell cows , running back by committee approach is prevalent. So 1000 yards and 600-700 yards by 2 RBs is considered good run offense. We are not there yet, our OL run blocking took a back step this season , come to imagine , we never imagined we will miss Philbin , LOL1000 yards in 17 games. No thx.
We celebrate 60 yards a game now?
3.9 per carry too. As i said before they did it, they should have let him walk and Franchised Danny...He got over 1,000 and the bum in NY couldn't.
Wow good for him. Had no clue he sniffed it lol...Congrats to TP. He nudged 1,005 yds, for the season.

You do realize you're arguing against 8 yards a game? Even more silly when you factor in that was at 15 games a season which changed in 1978. At 16 game season the difference is now from 62.5 yards per game to 58.3 a difference of 3.7 yards a game.1k yards rushing isn't what it used to be. It used to mean 66 ypg. Now it means 58 ypg.
That's the stat, right there... 31 yards as his longest run!?!Career low in ypc and his longest run was only 31 yards which was also a career low. Not a bad season but probably won’t be back next season.
Like a fart in the wind... barely.Wow good for him. Had no clue he sniffed it lol.
I mean yeah but you can't do that. Because you aren't going to score 60 yards every game. You are going to have bad games and great games. Still not that many guys with over 1k. I do agree though you could've got this production from a 3rd round rookie. What’s that 60 yards a game? Yeah, big congrats. Pretty sure we can get that production from a 3rd round rookie for 1/10th the price.
