What’s that 60 yards a game? Yeah, big congrats. Pretty sure we can get that production from a 3rd round rookie for 1/10th the price.
Roughly $10,000 per rushing yard.
Nice work, if you can get it...lol

Pollard tried, but 1k is not the mark w a 16 game season and playoffs he needs closer to double that or no one will care. 60 , 70 yards a game is not impressive people want 200 a game so 3k is the mark now but apparently it’s a passing league

58 yards per game. Almost 15 yards per quarter. Why do people hold on to the 1,000 yard rushing stat? It is hot garbage now.

Career low in ypc and his longest run was only 31 yards which was also a career low. Not a bad season but probably won’t be back next season.
He’s heating up for the playoffs tho. We’ll worry about next season later.

Say no to Zeke or any rethread running back. I prefer a back Achan from Miami with 4.3. I wish we have drafted him than Spoonmaker.

One 100 yard game and that was the loss to Arizona way back in week three.

Also have to consider he was coming off a major leg injury so I am happy for him.

..Congrats to TP. He nudged 1,005 yds, for the season.

Enough to call it good season. Still made the mark, with makeshift OL and ongoing injuries.

With post season on horizon, that number will surely go up.
Glad we been adding games every few years!

I mean yeah but you can't do that. Because you aren't going to score 60 yards every game. You are going to have bad games and great games. Still not that many guys with over 1k. I do agree though you could've got this production from a 3rd round rookie.
What? 12 guys have 1k+. Couple others missed by 5-10.

Not taking anything away from tony...but "not that many guys"?.

You do realize you're arguing against 8 yards a game? Even more silly when you factor in that was at 15 games a season which changed in 1978. At 16 game season the difference is now from 62.5 yards per game to 58.3 a difference of 3.7 yards a game.
It wasn't impressive at 66 ypg either.

Hope that helps.

4.0 per season is the minimum of what you want. Based on the standard he set, it was not a good season.

I mean, some here were wanting to get rid of Elliott for years and he only averaged 4.0 per carry as a starter one year out of his first six. His last year, he did average 3.8, though.

The 1,000 yard benchmark was celebrated in the 60's, when they played 14 game seasons as it was quite an accomplishment. A 17 game season does enlarge the pool of RB's that accomplish this. I'm still happy for him and expect him to play well in the playoffs.
