They might rework Zekes deal, but they are not going to cut Zeke.

Pollards never been to a Pro Bowl, earned a rushing title, or scored as many TDS/yards as Zeke.

you gotta earn it.

Pollard is 26 in April. He will go earn his money while he still has that 4.4 speed.

I hope he gets a fat paycheck. In the AFC.

Why draft a RB when we have other needs? We need to keep Pollard and use draft picks to upgrade or replace weaknesses.
It all depends on cost, they first have to decide on Zeke, which is much more difficult then many realize, leader on this team.

Even though Pollard makes the big plays, I think replacing Zeke would be more difficult, due to his blocking and his relationship with the rest of the team, especially Dak.

Personally, I'm hoping we can keep both, without saddling Pollard with a franchise tag.

Zeke is easily replaceable. Pollard is a rare player.

This is a easy choice.

Pollard is our gadget guy that can do a lot of things. I like Zeke and he great when we need those hard yards, but is he still worth the money? Unless he's will to take a pay cut, I think you have to let Zeke go to keep Pollard.

How do you guys watch Pollard and still look at him as a “gadget guy”.

He’s one of the best RBs in football and he’s the best RB on this team by a lot.

I think he just means that Pollard can be utilized in more ways than Zeke, but I don't recall them using him for many "gadget" plays. Certainly not enough to base a contract on.

Pollard is one of if not the league leaders in yards after contact.

People still acting like he’s a scat back need to get with the times.

Before they just let him go tell me what he wants to sign for? What’s the franchise tag look like for a running back? I would bring him back for one year on that and restructure or cut Zeke and draft another running back.

I haven't noticed players that pass protect as well as Zeke and have the power for short yardage and goal line. They should keep both.
I don’t see how you can keep both
That would be like 2 QB’s making starter money on your roster
No doubt Zeke is a great blocker and a very effective runner still. He’s still a very good and important part of the offense. But I just don’t see anyway you can keep both and it’s easier to replace what Zeke does than what pollard does
Also cutting Zeke after this year cost you almost 12 mil but from 2024 thru 2026 it clears over 40 mil just in time to pay parsons, lamb and Diggs

I definitely agree. Cant make the same mistake twice. However Pollard is a much better back than Zeke was when he signed his extension so I would pay around 8 million/year for 2 years but nothing more. No way do I go the 10-15 million dollar route.

Its a very good year for FA RB's this offseason and there are one or two we could sign cheap to replace both Zeke and Pollard.

I really take issue with that. Zeke was the best RB inthe NFL at the time. Pollard isn't the best RB in the NFL now

Zeke was never the best RB in the league. But even so , it bears little on now.
THIS guy...hated zeke from the get go. As if he's a Bama fan

He once told me "zeke is only rushing champion because of number of carries".

I showed him Emmitt number of carries and he swiftly put me on his ignore.

This guy HATES the facts...yet runs around bullying people.

Zeke was in FACT...the best rb in the league. This hole uses stats until he doesn't want to. A liar and bully.

Move on from Zeke and keep Pollard. Pollard is our big play guy. What he brings to the table is a little harder to find than what Zeke brings. Pollard is a playmaker with juice and you have to find ways to hang onto those. It seems like every week he’s finding some space and making a play.
......the reality is that TPollard's speed is able to overcome some of the bonehead schemes that Air Coryell Jr places on this team. And I do mean bonehead. Zeke's "decline" coincides with Air Coryell Jr dismantling the run game.

I would only retain Zeke on the condition that he'd agree to accept a pay cut.

Smart teams can ill afford to sustain unsupportable contracts indefinitely.
