I agree.

And not just because Pollard is my flex in Fantasy Football.

"If Pollard becomes the lead back, Elliott can benefit from fewer touches and maximize his opportunities when on the field. A similar setup occurred when the New Orleans Saints had Mark Ingram II and Alvin Kamara. After one season, the two flipped roles with Kamara getting the spotlight and Ingram serving as the hammer. Dallas should follow this blueprint."

You know where I stand on this 3 years running.

Pollard needs 15 carries and I would give Zeke 10. In games where we are dominating in the run game or in blowouts, give Zeke more.

Gotta start out the games with Pollard getting the lions share to get a lead.

I like Zeke in short yardage and short GL situations.

i like what both guys bring to the table and the rotation monday night was excellent IMO.

Still a little too much Zeke. It wont always be that easy to run the ball. We nearly lost the Bengals game because of too much Zeke.

I think it's got to be a game-to-game thing. Some teams are better at defending outside than inside and others have a strong middle but are vulnerable on the edges. You go with what's working, not any kind of predetermined pitch count.

Pollard has looked just as good as Zeke in between the tackles.

Pollard must run behind Jason Peters and Tyler Smith.....a lot. Actually, same for Zeke.

I'm in favor of a gradual change in number of carries weighted to favor Tony Pollard. That's so long as he gets the better results. I don't care at all about the designation of RB1 and RB2. The team gets an equal number of points no matter who scores.

Really, what I suspect is that the number of carries will be determined by the opponent and how Kellen decides to gameplan. The number of carries will be tied into their health at any particular point in time as well.

It's a long season and I wouldn't be surprised if their effectiveness switched back and forth a few times.

Not knocking him, but he's a better stretch runner. Most of his plays between the tackles are even on the edges of it between the guard and tackle. He doesn't usually run straight up the gut.

Only problem is jerry wants elliot to be the star, and get most carries, he has stated as much here recently.
He hasnt said a word about pollard.

I think pollard is auditioning for other teams, and will not be resigned here.

Pollard will want a decent contract, once his rookie deal is up, and do you think SJ will low ball him or give him a good deal ??

Cowboys are running more now, but when dak gets back that will fade away, and back to passing alot, that is also what jerry wants.

And dak said he might be ready by wash game. It is a circus, so who knows.

If they resign Elliott and let Pollard go i'll be pissed. I frankly want to see more Pollard and less Zeke.

I can't wait for TPollard running against the Rams & Eagles. That would say a whole lot.
