Pollard. Unexpected cherry on our cake?

I would love to see that cherry get popped more often in the passing game
Me, too.

My biggest concern is when these guys start their 2nd seasons they want to add 15 pounds and they lose their quickness.

Zeke had a big problem with that and took a month to get into playing shape.

I really never have thought he has ever returned to his 2016 form.

I miss it for sure.

That footwork/balance at 2:30 into the video is great!

Do we worry about his blocking though?

Ok..

With all this time on my hands..

I have been going over our new draft picks and ran across this video..

it started me thinking..

and we know how dangerous that can get..

I'm an Aquarian..so shoot me.

We ask alot of questions.

Pollard was a huge surprise to me. Sort of like Kamara with NO.

A. Multi-bladed knife that can slice and dice.

I am wondering how are we going to use him now that we have seen him?

Zeke is probably not going to want to sit while he plays knowing Zeke.

He has to eat early and often.

But Pollard seems to get better with increased carries.

How do we do it?

2 back attack

Motion out of the backfield

Screens

Jet sweeps

HB passes

What do you guys see?

How many touches will he get?

Over to you.

I can watch this all day.

When Zeke and the run game struggled last season I was begging for coaches to put TP in. Of course we were too stupid to go change of pace when it was desperately needed. I think TP is too good not to get work.

Tony Pollard is legit. I like how he carries the ball as far as ball security. He has moves and speed and is an asset not a liability. Gotta find touches in both the running game as well as the passing game. He deserves it and it looks important to him to prove he has talent like Zeke. Not comparing him to Zeke or saying he's better but a different style of back that is too talented to stay in the garage most of the time.

I do not know how this is going to work.

Does Big Mike do this or Moore?

Who makes this call during the game?

Halftime adjustments?

What's that, right?

Somebody said in maybe this thread that under Garrett..we just lined up and tried to out physical everybody.

We constantly ran into less noted teams with less skill players but they would beat us down and win going away.

It was disgusting to watch this happen and we would look at the standings thinking 2019 would be a 2018 repeat and say Philly was doing no worst therefore we are Ok if we make the playoffs...

Guess again, huh?

I like how he bobs and weaves thru traffic and smoothly regrips the ball before contact.

He protects it like Emmitt Smith used to.

Not to dig Zeke, but too often he holds the ball in one hand and gets blindsided but still holds on.

Wish he would study Pollard more.

Personally, I'd take Pollard over Elliott any day. And he's very capable of taking over the work load should Elliott go down.

Pollard' performance vs the RAMS last season proved that w/131 rushing yards and a rushing TD on only 12 carries. BOOM!

That drives me crazy. But I think the reason behind it is being able to run faster having the other arm free.

Zeke has been arguably the best back in the NFL since he has been here and you would rather have the guy that has never been a starter at RB.

I love the guy. If there's a silver lining for his reduced on-field opportunities, it's that he's extending his career. Many times I'd rather see him out there than Zeke, but it's comforting to know that if Zeke goes down (or is suspended), Pollard will step right in without missing a beat.

Idk man... he's looking pretty good.

Running slow routes against “air” isn’t impressive. You guys should save your excitement for IF and when Dez actually gets signed. Lol

Do you guys realize how long he had been out of football and how bad he was the last three years he played...not to mention the headache he was and how bad his route running was.

Instead of running routes, Dez just played with his monkey.

That was the atmosphere the coaching staff created. He would be the best #4 WR in the NFL. League min would be about 1.3 I believe. Worth it. He would be a great asset in the red zone.

It seems that 32 teams in the NFL beg to differ with your opinion because he still has no job and no offers, in spite of the fact that Dez has literally begged for a chance to come back and has rubbed shoulders with starting QBs in a pathetic attempt to be relevant again as a potential football player.

Ok, I don't play with trolls. Have a good one kid.
