Pollard vs Zeke

Moore was good again today. Although there were several key times where he needed to run the ball and got a little too pass happy. One time I think it was Dak calling out of it.

But now we see what me and several others have been saying for a couple years. Pollard is just a more skilled back. And in this offense he is the better back. Moore actually sees this too and is calling the game accordingly. It made all the difference tonight.

Long gone are the days where Zeke up the middle is forced on this offense.

p.s. Shultz is the better TE in every way. Some key blocks and key catch late.

Pollard is a good change up, but not a starter, don't think he can handle 25 carries a game. He didn't even start in college. I think we used him well today and should continue to use him.

Sorry but this is not a Zeke vs Pollard thing.. It's a Zeke AND Pollard thing.. At least that's how I view it. Having the two different types of backs makes our offense more effective. Not interested in pitting one against the other. I enjoy watching them work. You guys who worry yourselves about their respective salaries.. yall need a hobby.. I cannot muster even the slightest bit of concern about it.

He's never been known for pass protection. This is simple stuff. He had a great game, but it's ok to be honest.

Whatever he lacks in blocking compared to Zeke he makes up for in ability to hit a homerun and make chunk plays.

Anytime Zeke makes a decent run into the secondary I’m just like what if Pollard had got that carry.

zeke is marion barber when he slowed down. looks for somebody to hammer into.

We all know you would be on here hailing Zeke if he had 150 yards and 2 TD's. But I understand why you want to keep the peace.

I don't think it's going to be 50/50 very often but I'm happy that Moore had the good sense to stick with it when he saw that it working. I only care about wins.. I like the running game more than I do the passing game.. So I liked what I saw today .. The fact that Dak only had 4 incomplete passes on 27 attempts is a nice bonus to have in our back pocket. I like that we can win games multiple ways.. Though some of the cutesy calls in the red zone did raise my blood pressure bit.

The cowboys are better when the carries by Elliot and Pollard are split 50/50. Only problem is - why in the world are we paying someone 15mil a year to take 1/2 the carries? If I had to pick one I'd take Pollard at 3mil.

This argument makes no sense unless you take salary into account. If Elliot was playing for 3mil a year we would all love him.
