Pollard is the better runner. Zeke is the better blocker. Pollard deserves a 50/50 split at minimum.

The cowboys are better when the carries by Elliot and Pollard are split 50/50. Only problem is - why in the world are we paying someone 15mil a year to take 1/2 the carries? If I had to pick one I'd take Pollard at 3mil.

This argument makes no sense unless you take salary into account. If Elliot was playing for 3mil a year we would all love him.

You could have stopped right there..

You cannot run Zeke outside anymore.

That’s not Zeke’s fault. Rather, it’s Kellen Moore that keeps trying to squeeze water from rocks by running him outside the tackles; he can’t turn the corner or get the edge.

It’s evident to anyone with a brain Zeke does not have any juice left to break long runs. That said, he’s at his best running between the tackles.

Zeke is better than Pollard period

Both guys looked good today. I liked the mix and I enjoyed watching our o-line maul some people. Pollard ran fairly well inside today as well which will only help his overall game. The Chargers went light box most of the day, invited us to run and we accepted the invitation. I'm not sure how people manage to turn one guys good performance to the detriment of his teammate.. That's just a weird deal man..

You saw him get run down at least three times today.. What more evidence do you need? Pollard was great today.. So was Zeke.. both did what they were supposed to do! Let's keep it up!!!

Zeke was far from great, pedestrian would be more accurate.

This place is even dumber after a win than after a loss. Go figure.

When they run Zeke to the outside, they always run to the short side of the filed. Run it the other way, and give him that extra yards to hit the corner. Sometimes it is the play call, well, in Moore's case, most of the time.

I haven't been able to figure out why we don't take Zeke around the edge more. Is it simply a matter of they don't feel he's good at taking the corner on the off-tackle plays or that he's just better between the tackles? I don't think we fully utilize him that way. With Pollard, we have to primarily run him off-tackle because he's not as strong up the middle. Not saying he can't run between the tackles, simply that it's not his strength, just like taking the edge isn't Elliott's.

It would seem to me that we're a bit predictable in that sense when we switch backs, but it worked well tonight.

Whatever he lacks in blocking compared to Zeke he makes up for in ability to hit a homerun and make chunk plays.

Anytime Zeke makes a decent run into the secondary I’m just like what if Pollard had got that carry.
His blocking ability is grossly underrated. I like Pollard for how he's used. NOT in pass protection. What's so hard to understand here? I love having both! I couldn't care less about "what ifs." Moore called a good game and both RBs were used. And we won.

Salary isn't really an argument unless you also subscribe to a player getting paid more in his rookie season for lighting it on fire.

Zeke just doesnt have the speed or moves buddy. No harm in admitting it.
Pollard doesn't have the power. No harm in admitting it.

I love Pollard. He simply needs a complementary power back. I agree w/ your previous assessment that Pollard w/ a Latavius Murray type would be good.

Elliot is playing a solid of a football game as I’ve ever seen from him. He’s acting like a football player. No way do I ever want to release him right now. Not he keeps this up. Great tandem

Not true. Pollard is the better space runner, Zeke is the better power/inside runner.

Seriously, how do you guys miss simple stuff like this?

I am not a huge Elliot fan. changing my mind this season . He seems to be an all wrong football player I like it
