Poor, Poor Coaching.....

I am soooo disappointed by this loss and the utter lack of professionalism displayed by the team.

Coach Landry always preached professionalism/execution. This team doesn't execute.

I can't believe the poor tackling that gave up the first Giants touchdown. Ellis, Glenn missed tackles, but Williams, I can't even credit Roy Williams with a missed tackle. The receiver just ran by Williams as he was laying on the turf. How did Williams manage to get on the turf? Did Williams trip himself?

I can't believe the decision to go into a pushover "prevent" defense at the end of the first half that gave up a tying touchdown. The offense wears itself out playing smashmouth run offense on two of the most dominant, impressive drives of the season putting up 2 touchdowns in the second quarter, and the defense rewards their effort by playing some pushover "prevent" defense giving up a tying touchdown in under one minute without attempting to pressure Manning by attacking and blitzing him once to closeout the second half?

I can't believe the number of incomplete passes that hit our receivers hands or went through them. I don't even want to mention our receivers flat giving up on their routes. What was Crayton doing on that deep route on the last drive? You don't run the hitch in a hitch route if you already in the open behind the defender so defender can catch up with you for crying out loud that is just stupid. But, stupid is the upside here. Cause if it wasn't a hitch in a hitch route, Crayton was giving up on a route on the final drive of the season?

I can't believe the number of penalties.

I can't believe that Romo won't throw the ball away underpressure taking a 14 yard one minute and then the next minute when not underpressure stupidly throws the ball away downfield taking a 10 yard intentional grounding penalty on the final drive of the season. Honestly, has anyone ever seen a pro QB incur an intentional grounding penalty like that.....ever? On the last drive of the season?

I can't believe the lack of execution out of supposedly professional athletes.

I just can't believe the lack of execution out of supposedly professional athletes supposedly coached by supposedly professional coaches.

I just can't believe it.

jerruh needs to clean house again.

the "bring in a pushover" after Tuna trick is over

we need a REAL staff with REAL urgency with 2008 football minds.

This team has not been prepared for a game since they played Green Bay.

When Dallas played Green Bay they looked hungry and prepared. Can someone please tell me where that team went?

One would think two weeks would be enough for them to get the team prepared, but clearly it was not.

I think there is something to the being "soft" approach. I think there needs to be a balance. Parcells and Phillips seem to be extremes. Neither worked though.

What I think it comes down to is chemistry on the coaching side too. You can't have all softies. Wade as HC is ok, if you have some yellers and disciplinarians with the clout to put players in line. For example tell Crayton to shut up, tell Roy Williams he deserves to be benched and should practice certain things like basic tackling technique for 100 hours until it is once again instinctual. Stuff like that.

Guys weren't playing for Parcells at the end. Guys weren't sharp enough under Wade this year.

What else is lacking is experienced playoff winners on this team. We don't have many. We need some better veteran leadership in the locker room. We have GOOD guys, great attitudes, good work ethics, BUT we need some guys that will lead players around by the short hairs a bit.

We need Jimmy Johnson back.

The team has not played with urgency since Johnson left (that's going on like 20 years!). If I am Jerry I get on the phone to Jimmuh and tell him he has anything he wants to come back.

Jimmy wouldnt come back because he wants to be able to call all the shots and Jerry wouldnt let him...he left because of Jerry.

Jerry needs to understand that if wants to win, he has to give in.

Parcells had control, now give it to Jimmy.

Ah crap....who am I kidding?
