I can't believe some here are still crying about an old fashion butt whooping. Don't we play Minn. next season? Let our play on the field do our talking. I have been on both ends of blowouts in competitive sports and when we were on the wrong end of one our coach would not tolerate crying and whining and wringing our hands. I understand fans getting their panties in a wad, but the players allowed it to happen and need to just shut up about it and get them next time.

Not sure what side of the coin you thought I was on but just for clarification sake... I thought it was what it was. My point was that people shouldn't be crying about Minnesota being poor sports. Where's the sportsmanship in Wade calling timeouts when the game is practically over and the ball is in the hands of the other team? Take the loss like men and move on.

When did Wade take the timeouts, with like 6 minutes left?

I know the Cowboys were getting stomped and I'm not comparing Romo to Peyton Manning, but I saw Manning erase a three-touchdown deficit with FIVE minutes left to send the Colts into OT against Tampa and win the game. You just never know.

I do agree that the Vikes were running it up, but then again, the reaction can run both ways. The Skins were up 45-0 against the Lions once and were at the Detroit 1 late in the game and Gibbs had them take a knee....after the game, Chris Spielman of the Lions claimed that it was "disrespectful" of the Skins to take a knee. So..................

As for the other points, one of the other things about the Theismann incident in '78 was that he also spiked the ball after running out of the end zone.

The next year I believe Harvey Martin threw a wreath into the Skins locker room after Staubach led a comeback to beat the Skins by 1 and knock them out of the playoffs.

Of course I liked the video by bbgun! It reminded me of when they used to put the opposing team's name and colors around one of the goalposts at Texas Stadium.....always thought that was cool.

The one that I witnessed was that Haynesworth stomp on Gurode, that's why when the Skins signed him to that huge contract that thing pissed me off massively. He doesn't deserve any penny of that contract.

You obviously underestimated Danny's GM skills.

Right, how is calling timeouts with over 6:00 left in a game suppossed to justify throwing a TD pass on 4th down when you are up by 24 pts with less than 2:00 left?

 How about keying Wade in on not calling useless timeouts at the end of a thrashing when the game is practically over...?

And then everyone complains about him not using them and the team and him are labeled quitters..

Gimme a break.

I will stay say that T-blow and the star as well as Irvin and the egals fans cheering are my tops..

I can't believe that some people are still butt hurt about that last Vikings TD. That is far from being the worst show of sportsmanship against the Cowboys in history.

Brooking should have tackled Favre after that play, or gone for his knees instead of crying in front of their sideline. Take a fine or a penalty and get it out of your system.

I wish Brookings wouldn't have said anything. I imagine it was just the frustration of the moment. I didn't like the last touchdown that Favre threw but then again I didn't like any touchdown that he threw. They beat us pure and simple. All of this talk about "sportsmanship" makes us look like a bunch of whiners. If we'd done the same thing to Philly or some other team and that team called foul then we'd say they were a bunch of babies. I don't like that we lost but I don't think Favre displayed bad sportsmanship at all. He merely kicked our butt. Even if it had been bad sportsmanship I think it makes us look like sore losers to protest too much about it. I just hope that the team remembers this loss when they play Minnesota next year and that Romo shows them what running the score up is all about.

When a scumbag ram fan called in a death threat on landry during a monday night game. He left during the game and came back with body armor on.

I had forgotten all about that until you mentioned it.
