Porter says hello to Cowboys Nation

Come on down son, your the next contestant on the price better be right. Seriously though, just seeing how we saved our draft picks in 2027, I'm on board now. This wasn't bad.
I don't think the trade value is bad but it's hard to evaluate without knowing what the contract is going to look like.

In addition to saving 2027 capital, the good thing about trading the 2028 pick is that if he does walk after this year, Dallas should recoup a third-round comp pick. In that instance, the trade is essentially a second for one year of JPJ and a 4th-round pick.

If Philthy had traded for him the Philthy fans here, I mean the Cowboy fans here would say "this is another example of their GM running circles around Jerry."

Like you said, this wasn't a bad trade at all.

So he doesn’t have a back injury. He was just holding out for a new contract.
Something doesn’t add up.
He had a legit injury but it was almost certainly not as severe as was made out or the recovery was delayed.

Team doctors had been treating him and he was released to full practice this week but they only had a walkthrough.

The Steelers, unlike the cowboys, stayed quiet and talked to multiple teams trying to negotiate a trade while they let Porter slow roll his recovery.

Jerry just said our guy was faking it and then took the first offer he got because he was in his feelings.
