Well is it real or not? I think the Skins could go either way. Surprisingly good as in 9-10 wins or surprisingly bad. I also think they will be like some Cowboys teams with a good defense and a shaky offense. Early Parcellsish.

No one is going to overpay for him the way the Skins did however, that's for sure.

In all honesty though, he's good player, but what would someone be willing to pay for him? Seattle could probably use him but then they'd have to admit they were wrong to give good money to Julius Jones.

Would be ironic if Jones is forced into a runningback duet again.:D

Clinton in Seattle would be scary IMO. That team is a legit RB away from really contending. They have all the peices except RB.

Not alot of teams would be interested in Portis?? LOL please..He's only like 27 and has alot of years left in him if he gets another back to help him out.

The calender might say 27, but I think the body says 32.

He's already taken a lot of punishment on that frame and has already shown signs of wearing down.

Given the 'meat-grinder' that is the life of an NFL running back, I'd be surprised if Portis lasts another two years.

Getting ready to say the same thing. For a good running back, 27 is like 32.

But this shouldn't be a shock to anyone living in the DC area. He called Zorn out last year. He had a problem with Mitchell last year in an argument. Portis is showing that he's pretty arrogant.

Portis is flaky but he is a warrior.. I'd take him and Moss on my team any day.

Maaaaan you've got to be kidding. I live here in the DC area and follow them closely. Portis, A.K.A "Chu Chu the dance instructor" is a complete idiot and he damn sure isn't a warrior. He doesn't practice, he takes himself out of games, he shows up to team workouts when he wants, he's often injured, he's lost more then a step, and he's extremely disrespectful to JZ and his staff. The guy is a complete clown and does whatever he wants. Most Foreskin allumni dislike him and his actions. That doesn't sound like a warrior too me..

Moss is ok but waaaay to short and small.

You're dead on point with this post. His better days are behind him. No wiggle and no speed. When was the last time he took one to the house from 50 or 60yrds out? Prolly the 1st time he touched the rock as a Foreskin. Dude is just about done..

I haven't noticed a decline, but I haven't been following Portis.

I know Moss lights us up every game.

Every game, really?

Like Indy said... It's not the years, it's the mileage.

Well then the whole Commander team is mileage. They are going to suck a looooooong time. Nothing but old washed up veterans. Fletcher is running on his last fumes at the age of 50. Their DE's are old. Their WR's suck.Old O-line. No QB.RB that has worn down. Man they have no future.

The Commanders are as lowly as the 2002 Cowboys, maybe they'll be the 2004 version, anyway its .500 at best for them so long as Campbell is behind center.

He's part Quincy Carter, part Heath Shuler, all going nowhere.

It's true. They have no future with him at QB. No chance at all. I'm honestly ready for Colt Brennan to play.

I don't blame Portis for being fustrated but you have to show a certain level of respect for the head coach...
