Don't get your panties bunchy.

He's really good but thinks he is really, really good.
He is really really good. He runs behind the worst of em, and racks up yardage with the best of em. How could you not say that's greatness? If he was a Cowboy, you'd think so.

Ladell Betts should relieve him with some carries, IMHO. He himself is an underrated back.

Betts is very underrated. He could be a starter on nearly any team in the legue, the Skins are just lucky he likes being there or he'd be gone. I honestly don't like watching players of that caliber be backups, no matter who they play for. I'd be curious to see what he could do as a starter, because he's always been great in relief.

Again I have to disagree. It's clear to me he is really good, not really really good...Sorry.

Name a team he could start for...Besides Denver, they don't count right now.

FWIW-the Pats are having their hands full with Randy Moss this year. Yeah-despite tons of injuries, they could very well win the tough AFCE, but b/c they're not having the same success as last year, Randy has been seen quitting on his routes, giving up on plays, just plain quitting, etc.

Hhhmmm...wonder why hard*** Belichick hasn't disciplined him like he did with Terry Glenn.

In 2006, Betts started 9 games in relief after Portis went down with an injury.

In those 9 games, Betts rushed for 1,145 yards. Currently this season, there are only 3 players that have rushed for more yards than that, and they've had 13 games to do it.

I have a better question for you. Name one team besides Minnesota he couldn't start for.

Clinton Portis unloaded on head coach Jim Zorn Tuesday on a radio appearance, sarcastically calling Zorn a "genius."
This is what happens when players have more power with ownership than coaches. "We got a genius for a head coach, I don't know, I'm sure he on top of things. He's got everything figured out," Portis said, clearly unhappy about his lack of touches last week. "If you've got a problem with me not practicing and can't do it that way, maybe you feel like you need to sever ties, split ties with me? Split ties with me. But don't sit here and throw me out like I don't pay attention, like I don't know what's going on, like I'm making mistakes, I'm the problem"

English teacher's heads are exploding all across the US...

I see Dallas isn't the only team with disgruntled players...:laugh2:

Is it just me, but everytime these troublemaking players come out and complain/distract, they follow that up almost immediately with a great game the following week(despite all the media saying how the sky is falling on their teams).

I guess it looks to me like "disgruntled" Owens will have a monster game next week.:)

Ok, and you base your opinin of this on what? In his career, he has rushed better than the starter on every single team you have listed. If you honestly don't think Betts could be the starter for every single team you listed, you're either dillusional, or you know nothing about him, and base your insane opinion on the fact he's a backup.
