But... I talked about battles and foxholes and ... uh...
Damn.

Now I'm depressed.
Think I'm going to sit back, watch Big Trouble In Little China and reflect a little bit.

Its crazy to think Lawrence will be 30 next season.

Yeah I kind of lost my respect for that guy anyways... When I saw his attitude towards that "kid" in the Giants jersey asking for an autograph. I was done. I don't care. That's a kid. You go over to him, sign it and tell him why you think he is rooting for the wrong team. You don't shake your head to a kid like that. Poor optics. Made me see what kind of person he was. #1 thing always is to "be kind to children". You don't know what they are going through or dealing with. Made me think "Screw that guy". I don't care if he plays for the Cowboys or not. Just my opinion but I still feel that way. I will frankly be glad when he is gone even if he made a play of the century.. Dont care.

i think we keep 10.
☆DE
lawrence
gregory
basham
golston
armstrong

☆DT
gallimore
odiggy
bohanna
urban
watkins

Remove Armstrong, he has done nothing other than a few plays here and there. Add Hill at DT. As odiggy can play some DE if needed. He is the new Crawford position wise. Hopefully better though.
Anae could be another DE if they go 11. Don't be surprised Urban or Watkins may not make the team therefore, keeping 10. So Hill replaces him, and Anae replaces Armstrong.

I'm expecting big things from Gregory. He has always made an impact when on the field. Given a true off season/training camp he will finally realize his full potential.

The defense is going needs RG to reach his potential this year. RG must be an impactful rusher or it will difficult for the defense to move into mid-league defensive rankings.

new DC has no loyalty to hill.
Quinn also specificly talked about Watkins...so dont be surprised if he was a f/a target and makes the 53.
all these new dlinemen have 34in arm length and its beyond coincidence so Armstrong gets the edge for that reason on my projection.
honestly...Anae hasn't done anything special either.
most of Quinns atlanta teams kept 10 dlinemen so i think his trend continues here.

I am pretty sure they will keep 10 DL, 10 DB's. I still will not be surprised they keep 11 DL to see how it pan out. Depending how many QB's, RB's, WR's, TE's they keep.
I got Armstrong and Anae arm length backwards, so that is a factor, however they have no ties to either of them, as with Hill. Actually more ties with Anae over Armstrong. But I don't think they give up on Hill, over Armstrong and / or Anae. JMO though.

can't wait to watch the rookies...Osi Odighizuwa...Chauncey Golston...Quinton Bohanna.

i'm excited to watch Basham as well.

DT group looks strong.
Gallimore...Odiggy...Bohanna...Urban...Watkins

i think Hill is gonna have a tough time making the cut....same for Anae.
Yeah, the DT group looks stronger to me, which will help the LBers tremendously. The DE will also benefit, and with extra snaps from Gregory and having Basham available, that front seven will make life easier for an improved secondary. IMHO, of course. We’re all just speculators.
