What positions need upgrades in your mind? Just wondering...

[RHETORICAL] Did you just watch Romo spend an entire game running for his life? [RHETORICAL]

My suggestions in order of importance:

RT - maybe we have this player in Brewster

K for FGs

ILB to take defense to the next level - catalytic everydown player

OG - maybe we have this player in Brewster

ILB for nickel - maybe we already have this guy in JWill and Hodge

S

OLB for depth - maybe we already have this player in BWill

NT - I still think playing NT takes too much out of Ratliff and he would be better at DE and then move over to DT in the nickel

WR - maybe we already have the guy we need in Ogletree

CB - could always use another

RB - if we are ditching Barber we need another - prerferably a bruiser type. Could also go the vet route here

QB - if we don't like McGee

TE - we are pretty good here, too

Draft a C [means Gurode moves to LG, Kosier becomes valuable backup to interior line]

Have Free, Brewster compete with Colombo

Re-sign Sensy if he comes reasonably. If not, start Mike Hamlin.

Find comp for Ken Hamlin

Draft a couple DEs

draft Terrance Cody [replaces Siavii]

These are not flashy picks but OLine and Dline better be priority.

DT - Move Ratliff to DE and Draft or sign a mammoth DT (Ndamukong Suh?)
OT - Draft
OG - Draft
OC - Draft

And obviously WR. It's the first time these words have come out of my mouth becasue I was not wanting to admit defeat but, yes, Roy is officially a bust.

Also, wouldn't mind seeing Barber traded out of here.

any plan that involves shuffling our d line is total FAIL....along with any reality that we could get Suh

Flo might still be there next season but we cannot trust him to last the whole season.we need his successor in camp .It could be Free or a draft pick.Imo we should draft a legit LT in the 1st rd.

The good news is that the areas where Dallas needs help are typically the easiest to find talent in the draft and FA. It's not like they need a DE, QB, #1 WR, RB, or CB. Upgrades at OL and safety should be very doable.

The bad news, as San Diego just found out, is that you can put a strong team out there and still fall apart at the end to a significantly weaker opponent.

The Oline has been handicapping this team for over a decade now. They to do something different in their scouting and development of that position.

I said from DAY ONE at the beginning of this season..we go as far as the OL goes. I also said the OL was not good enough to win it all. I admit, they played far better than I had anticipated and Free was a pleasant surprise but in the end......the OL needs help.

Ignorant response that's wrong in every possible way. Teams reshuffle successfully all the time and players drop in the draft all the time. Next time you want bash an honest post, put a little brainpower in it.

Spears is a waste of roster space. Someone like Suh could play 1st and 2nd down while Ratliff plays DE. On passing downs you could slide Ratliff back over to DT. Would be a great rotattion. We would have a rare situation of having the only 3-4 DE in the league that could actually get to a QB on a regular basis. And Ratliff still plays all downs.

no , ignorance is wanting to replace an all pro player with a top 2 draft pick when you have a pick around the 28th spot.......if you want to trade and invest so much in a player it should be at an area of REAL need.....ie...O-tackle...or perhaps a play making safety

Inside linebacker, too old and too slow. I dont care which one goes or sits.
