what's gonna be interesting is Simi's receiving skills, tools and potential vs Cedrick Wilson.
He's much faster, and he's bigger than Wilson- who after that huge Seattle game (and all the busted Seahawks coverages) did not show up in pass game for better part
of the season. Simi could bring a bigger size/speed element to the game than Wilson.

Wilson already has a leg up on Simi as far as NFL game experience and familiarity with Kellen moore offense, as well as rapport with Dak.
But i'm very interested to see how OTAs and this summer camp and preseason holds out for Simi. who is also supposed to be very valuable on special teams as well.

You think Fehoko is faster than Wilson? I don't know how you arrived at that conclusion. Well actually I do know. Don't forget that Fehoko's 4.39 was a pro-day time .. which my mind instantly converts to 4.54 which is about the same as Wilson's combine time. On the top end Wilson is one of the fastest guys on the team. He's just a long strider who doesn't LOOK fast when you watch him run.. but if you pay attention to the guys giving chase you notice he's frequently pulling away. There's a couple of reasons why I hesitate to declare his ceiling has been reached. First, he's a converted QB who is relatively new to the WR position and second, because the Cowboys kinda stashed him on IR his first year last year was essentially his rookie season in terms of playing time. I think Daik getting hurt may have cost him more than any receiver on the roster. After all he'd basically lived with Dak all offseason coming into 2020 and had zero chemistry with anybody else. But if Simi comes in and produces right away that would not be the worst thing in the world either!

It doesn't matter what people's opinions are anyway. Dak will either deliver on the field or he won't regardless of what these people try to tell us. Those hellbent on being "right" about will still be here making up excuses why the Cowboys overpaid even while Dak is being peppered with questions about how much he's looking forwarding to starting in the Super Bowl at Super Bowl media day. I expect the kid to deliver.. because that's all he's ever done in his life.. But in no way do I expect the "ABD" crowd to ever give him his due.. And I'm fine with that.. I suspect he is as well. Dak could throw for 400 yards and 4 TDs in the Super Bowl and they will be here shouting from the mountaintop that the Cowboys could have one it with another, cheaper QB.. Whatever..

I've got a funny feeling it could be Simi Fehoko replacing Noah Brown.

Simi is good on special teams and very talented as a receiver, also.

Brown just seems to linger but not excel. Chronic special teamer.

Cooper, Lamb, Gallup of course are locks. And no Gallup is still not getting traded.

Wilson and Brown are next up, however both have been prone to past injuries, though last year did they get over that.
I know many do not like Brown, but he does bring value, however both these players could get pushed for a roster spot or playing time. I think at least one stays, if not both.

The 6th WR was Turner, but more for ST's. I think Fehoko over takes him easily. Then there is Vasher. Want to see what he does in TC. I know many will think he will make the team. However is was an UDFA. But I liked him in college.

So the last 3 WR's will be between, Brown, Wilson, Fehoko, Vasher.

My take for now:
Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Wilson, Fehoko and Vasher on the PS.

Vasher won't last on the Practice Squad.

Did you hear what Stanback had to say about Fehoko on Talkin Cowboys yesterday? He basically said he lack fluidity and route running skills and basically got punked by Noshon Wright every time they were matched up in drills. Basically he said unless he improves leaps and bounds as a receiver over the OTAs he will have to be a special teams ace to supplant Brown.

Vasher won't last on the Practice Squad.

I used to tell myself this every year about some UDFA's we signed. As well, we have depth on the roster to make a few trades during TC.
Well, it never happens, and the players we think will get plucked from the PS, well, they usually don't. Rarely do.
I will wait until TC to see and decide. He did go un-drafted, so all the other teams passed him as well. After TC teams like their guys , it is just not us. They will stick with who went through TC most of the time.

I hope you are correct though and shows enough to make the team. Which means they think he has a higher side than Wilson or Brown. I like them both, but seems Wilson still has a lot of fans in here hyping him up. Yes, he made some plays, but also disappears at times, and he is also still injury prone. Just as Brown seems to be.

I just like how effortlessly he runs away from NFL DBs. I think he's a lot faster than he was timed. Maybe not explosively quick so his 40 time was pedestrian but watching him run he seems like one of those guys who takes a minute to get up to speed but his top end is warp speed.
