This makes me so feel much better about him as a prospect. He doesn’t have the short area quickness and burst of Lamb but this right around the same long speed I found for Lamb.

He obviously doesn’t have the twitch and quickness that makes Lamb elite but it shows he has the build up juice to win down the field if you let him.

His lack of burst, lateral quickness and how long it takes him to hit full speed screams Roy Williams. I wouldn’t touch him even if they were looking for a WR which I don’t think they are.

Just way too much bust potential when there’s a host of other players that will be available, have similar if not better scores and fill a much bigger need!

Burner is irrelevant. He had issues getting separation on a consistent basis vs corners who won’t even sniff an NFL practice squad. That’s going to become an issue trying to play in a league where everyone is NFL caliber!
I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever drafts him try’s to convert him to TE within 3 seasons!

I don't see Mike Evans' game in Tet at all.

Evans is just a freight train rolling down the boundary. Tet isn't half as thicc as Evans, and doesn't have nearly his strength - if any receiver in the NFL does - but he's got better change of direction. Tet's not the guy who's going to run you over going for the end zone fade. He'll probably take a 3-step slant route and then box you out.

If he had ran the combine shuttle and cone drills and done so with decent time I might be a bit more comfortable. Considering he chose to only run at his pro day sends out even more red flags and I’d be suspect on those times. Again, 12 to me is way too high with his bust potential especially when considering there’s players at positions of much greater need that should have the same score!

I heard he wasn't even doing pro day drills. He is confident in his ability and station. Players who have nothing to hide/prove are usually solid in the NFL. WR Drake London did the same thing; no testing. Who was the last player to hold out from all testing to lay an egg in the NFL. I can't remember one?

I don’t remember London having anywhere near the questions with burst, acceleration and lateral quickness!
If this is true then they should probably take him off their board and should push him down to around 25th to early 2nd at best!

Tet is currently 7ty on the consensus big board so he’d be a great combination of value meeting need.

I agree, but we at least wanted some kind of validation he’s meeting NFL thresholds if we’re taking him at 12. I think the GPS score checks the box for me.

He isn’t twitched up and super quick but is a very smooth athlete for his size, has a great catch radius with elite balls skills and is a good route runner.

I don’t know if he can be a top 10 WR in the league but I do think he can be one of the best WR2s in football and that’s exactly what we need.
