Ok are you suggesting coaches don't matter at all? Because that's the other extreme and I don't think that's fair. If anything Indy was the fluke and Eberflus kind of proved in Chicago that he wasn't a great coach and then backed it up in Dallas. But yes maybe when everything is going his way with the personnel then he makes it work. Parker impressed me more in one preseason game than Eberflus did his entire tenure in Dallas. We have no idea if it will work out and we shouldn't take much from a preseason game but he did his job well tonight and that's more than I can say for Eberflus in Dallas.

I thought Blue looked slow and indecisive. Not needed here.

I like the strength of Mafuh, the Speed of Blue,,,, but Davis and Abanikanda see and hit the holes, they were just better runners.

I see promise in the new look defense. You made a team go 80 yards on the opening drive. Then they tightened up after that drive. Seem to be much more disciplined. Better tackling.

winning in the preseason is an after thought -- you see how guys do in different situations. You don't really game plan.

Malik Davis always seems to play well. Unfortunately for him; I think we bring in someone else.

He's one of those guys who has it going against him physically. He's not big enough for a power back. He's not fast enough for a speed back. But still finds a way to get it done anyway.

I think he'll be kept as the third back, but we'll probably use Blue in games as a change-up to Williams unless Blue just doesn't prove up to it.

I thought Howell and Milton both played pretty well.

The think with Milton and Howell are, I believe Howell will play better against starters in the regular season than Milton will. Howell just have that Kirk Cousins journey men potential about him, even when I seen him play for the other teams.

Areas of weakness in this game that stood out early was, special teams' coverage on punt/kick returns, secondary awareness.

The OL were steadily wearing down the interior of Seattle's D when we leaned on the run which is a positive towards scheme, and some decent looking depth on OL finally might be emerging.

Milton looked decent, has a bullet arm, seems vastly improved over last year, still young with only entering year 3, has a good frame, good size at 6'4" @ 248lbs, with fast feet.

Would be nice to see him take a step up this season, its year 3 so time to see something positive and he flashed that tonight.

I liked the good shows from Blue, Mafa, and always seems as though Davis would be eventually drifting out, but he has some solid game, he has a good burst and another gear, Davis isn't throwing in the white flag by no means.

So with Williams, Blue, Mafa, Davis is deep, where does Lupke fit into the equation?

Nice to have some problems with a slight log jam at a position but Mingo looked good tonight he didn't hurt himself, and the rookie looks like a very interesting prospect Campton Brown with a pair of TDs and a spectacular one-handed Odell special.
Can't coach raw talent, some are just born with it, he flashed that skill tonight.

They will stash a few, but nice to see some young talent at WR stepping up, and just as nice as having a bit of an issue on final cuts.

I’m the biggest Malachi Lawrence fan on here, but he looked a bit slow and heavy IMO.

Folks don't want to admit it but he was a reach. I'm all for the gamble though. I'm only hoping to see something out of him late in the year. Anything more is gravy.

In other news, Malik Davis is my RB2 until further notice.

I was most happy to see both back up QBs looking like they could drive the bus for a game or 2 if needed. Trigg and Brown looks like they could be some found hidden gems. Defense looked like they was all hungry to make the tackles.
