Positives

Sure Dallas might be better than 9-7 but this is no SuperBowl team, most people that have been around those teams and watched them win are very aware of what it takes and that this team doesn't have it.

Well, in all fairness/realisticness...the Cardinals did make it to the Super Bowl after going and getting housed by New England 47-7 two weeks before the playoffs.

In this day of the watered down NFL just about any decent team can get to the SB as the Cards have proven.

The only negatives to the game were....

1)Our offense playingcalling

2)Barron

3)Scandrick - I dont care what anyone says on the 3rd he did absolutely did nothing to slow down that receiver. Mcnabb simply overthrew him on the crossing route.

4) David B shanked a kick- but so did a lot of kickers yesterday.

5) The Coaching Staff and Players never showed up for the game.

Roy stepping up is a positive. Our D will be a force to recon with. We have backup depth who could spell a player. Bryant is the real deal.

The positives

Miles looked strong, doesn't look to be a one season wonder
Dez showed promise, should get better with every game
The defense didn't give up a touchdown
The chicken fajitas we had last night were pretty good and a friend brought some pork ribs, that was a nice surprise. That was definitely a positive.

We always have a tough time with Washington, with this setup were you not worried? Hell talk about cards stacked against you?

I'd rather this team peak in december and January. It's a long season and I saw things to build on. Four guys on one play all made a bad decision and that's what it took to beat us. Wade/Garrett/Romo/Choice

We ran the ball well
we stopped the run
Austin is the real deal
Dez looks to be the real deal
Romo was solid under alot of pressure
The defense allowed 6 points

We made mental mistakes throughout the game. The one positive about mental mistakes is they can be corrected. When is the last time Choice did something stupid?

Roy who? RoyW11? He had one nice catch, and he was obviously the third wide receiver. Is that stepping up? I thought my expectations of him were low!

That loss hurts bad I cant lie. We beat ourselfs last night. We had things going for us, we just have to get over this loss and fix things.

Do not forget that we are supposed to get 2 starting lineman back this week. Things can turn around for us fast. I still have hope for the season.

I thought we would go about 11-5 this season so we still have 4 more losses. The season isnt over.

We are not as bad as so many thought we were.

.................

Guys help me out and find some more.

Dez is STRONG. He was throwing DeAngelo Hall around like a rag doll! :lmao2:

As long as Jason Garbage can call a decent route for Dez, he is going to be a very good player. I was excited to see him make some catches.

======

It was good to see the running game come to together after poor showing in the preseason. Barber and Jones where averaging just shy of 5YPC. The bad, Garrett went away from the run instead passing 47 times.

Jason Garrett = New Andy Reid?

======

Ware got up and walked off the field after basically looking like he got knocked out.

Crap I had forgot about Ware, I hope he is ok for this week, we need him bad.

It's obvious that Roy has lost it, plus he's a detrimental to the progress of this roster and winning. Though I did think he was interferred with on the play across the middle when he was double teamed. Deadskins got away with cutting him off....dude is sllllloooowww.

Wow................. a positive thread STARTED by burm!!!!!

(Going out side to check if barn animals are flying around. )

Kind of lost in the shuffle of Barron hate was the fact that Holland actually played pretty well.

Did he? I didn't watch his play during the game. While it's good not to hear his named called. That doesn't guarantee he had a good game.

http://www.extremeskins.com/showthr...g-some-nice-things-about-the-Cowboys-tonight.

some things Skins fans are saying about the Cowboys after the game:

===
One observation is that I think I'm gonna get real tired of watching Austin. The dude is fast. And (unlike our receivers) didn't drop any. He's gonna be a pain, for years.
===
Another thing I observed is that it seemed like the Cowboys had about 6 people carrying the football, and all of them gained yardage with it. (Most of the time.) Now, that may be because we don't have a good run D, but you folks sure looked like you could run the ball with anybody.
===
Jay Ratliff is a friggin monster. Good grief. Screw DeMarcus Ware.

Guy is a playmaking NT. That's almost an oxymoron.
