Possibility of 17-game season

According to ESPN, the NFL will be proposing two games per season to be played in overseas in the future (no specific time table for this proposal).

With some owners (especially Jerry Jones, a staunch opponent of giving up home games to overseas) not wanting to give up their homes games, there is a speculation (as per ESPN) that NFL may eventually add another game to the season, to eliminate giving up a home game.

If so, would you be in favor of 17 game season or do you think it's too long of season?

The NFL should get rid of two preseason games and add the 17th game. Teams should get the overseas game right before their bye.

Depends where the overseas games are. Travel time for teams on the west coast will be much longer than for teams on the east coast. If they are going to have games aborad then it makes sense for west coast and south west teams to play in mexico and east coast teams to play in london.

That would be the best option.

Though if they just wanted to remove two of the preseason games, anyway, I'd be fine with that, too.
