Ro was my favorite player on defense this year till certain things happened ...like house burning down and missing practice every damn week.

Concussions make you miss practice. I think he'll be in better football shape next season. People seem to forget he missed an entire year of football. It is why I was shocked he played as good as he did. He flashed that 1st round talent, and next year I believe he'll only be better with Lee and Durant returning.

Those four all interest me esp Okoye, Whaley and Gardner. Of course since I left Coleman off he'll be All-Pro. Just as interested in Free, Weems, Parnell, Lee, Durant, Ro, Claiborne, Carr, and Spencer.

Rush DE, CB x 2 and FS are of great interest. Lot of questions.

Yeah, I recall that. Can't defend it. I have a hunch those things will improve. I believe he bought in to Dallas and his whole attitude will only get better. Having someone like Dez should help too. Dez had a long wrong to get where he is. Looking forward to another exciting season of football for the boys.

Only name that intrigues me there is Gardner.

He looked like a veteran NFL DE in college to me. Good size, exceptionally strong at the point of attack and has a strange knack for slipping past linemen and shedding blockers. He's incredibly aware as well, sniffing out screens and maintaining outside contain when necessary.

I think he'll be a very good player for us.

He injured his shoulder during training camp. I believe it was the team's first padded practice and he required season ending surgery as a result.

He was a guy that interested me in the lead up to last year's draft too. I hope he can be a contributor for us going forward.

If Lawrence can turn into an 8-10 sack guy next season, do we still need to sign a rusher in free agency?

And if we do, will he be a progress stopper for Lawrence?

And if Lawrence can be a 8-10 sack guy, can't we use the rusher money and use that on Demarco Murray?

Can any pass rusher in FA make us better than another great season from Murray?

Yes. DLaw is just one piece of the puzzle. We need all the pass rushers we can get. We want a full blown all out assault on the QB every time he drops back to pass.

True. The defensive line is going to get crowded in the offseason, especially if we draft someone or pick up guys in free agency. There's going to be guys that we cut that can make other teams.
