I'm sorry if this has already been proposed but what would you guys think of bringing Lavar Arrington in to play OLB opposite Ware? It's a simular situation to Kevin Hardy a couple of years ago; a talented LB coming back from an injury. He could be fairly cheap so the risk would be low. Any thoughts?

He's already said he hated Dallas and would never play here.

I think he may retire. I've heard rumblings of that nature down here in the District. Even if he doesn't I'd pass. Too injured lately.

I hate him right back, he is a royal bust that should go the way of Quinten Coryatt.

As was Lavar at Penn St., they both were taken second in the draft of their respective years and they both were injury prone hype machines.

Lavar had such a promising career. He had the potential to be a legendary linebacker, too bad his ignorance outweighs his talent - he coulda been a good one.

Ditto

Chasing fairy tales if anyone thinks he would come here and do anything but get hurt.

He is always hurt. I hope we stay out of free agency altogether, let alone make a huge mistake like arrington.

You're kidding right? LaPunk does not want to play for us, so why would we consider add him to our team?

Arrington has never played in a 3-4, and I don't think he's the fastest learner in the world, if you know what I mean. If he was on the Cowboys, he'd be an occasional pass rusher who only came in on 3rd and long, or hail mary situations.

Also, he seemed to be dogging it in several games early in the season for the Giants. May he wasn't motivated, maybe he wasn't all the way back from an injury. Then he seemed to be coming around, and he got hurt again.

I don't have anything against the guy personally, but I just don't see much of a role for him here in Dallas.

He's still fairly young. He's only 28.
He should take the year off to get healthy and to ponder if he still wants to play. If yes, someone will give him a shot.

I can't believe LaPunk is even being discussed on this board!

Lavar Arrington? Please don't make me pull a Tim Hardaway here. That's all I'm gonna say.
