As everybody knows, they have got to get some linebackers. The possibilities are:
Bobby Okereke
Bobby Wagner
Trade
Draft
Sonny Styles
C J Allen
Jacob Rodriguez
Anthony Hill Jr.
Jake Golday
Josiah Trotter
Kyle Louis
Taurean York
Jack Kelly

I think that is pretty much it. I don't know who they could get in trade, but I would think that it is a possibility. I think they could draft 2 good ones and Wagner on a 1 year deal might be a good move. They very well might draft Allen, they do have his college coach on staff.

Is Dre greenlaw still out there?

Okere guy I've never heard of him yet he's the team captain sheesh, may be some interest. I'd check in on Greenlaw but either way would still draft lb early

Dam, talk about slim pickings..........can't believe we got totally wiped out at LB when it is the biggest weakness on the entire freaking team.

Old man Bobby Wagner like 40 now, LOL, but I would kick the tires and see if he has anything left in the tank on a 1 yr deal. Not what I had in mind, but it is getting to be desperation time.

Even at 40 he is better than anyone we had at LB last year.

Package our two 1st rounders and move up a few spots and draft Styles… also get back a high 2nd rounder.

Wild we are possibly going dumpster diving at LB in FA and then putting all our eggs into Overshown, James and another draft pick.

Front office drafts two Linebackers with injuries and then gets spooked on ever paying a healthy one cause the Smith re-signing backfired or something.

They paid 7mil in salary to Kenneth Murray last year but couldn't give 8-12 mil aav to Chenal or Singleton, Williams, Edmunds or Elliss

I get not paying top 3 money to a linebacker, but this position is bad and there's little guarantees of landing your first choice in the draft and them actually being an impact player year 1.

Devin Bush signing with Chicago just made them better . They are serious about going after NFC crown go to SB this year .

I would see if we could do something with osa for Jordyn brooks

I'd assume Miami would want picks over another contract.

While doing another scorch earth rebuild, Miami has Sieler, Biggers, Grant, and Phillips. The last three being recent draft picks.
While it's too be determined on how the rooks fare, I'd assume Miami rather go with the rookie contracts than taking on Osa's deal while they get through all the dead cap they've accelerated this and next year.

Now, if Miami wants to send Sieler as well I'm all for that.

Brooks would be a huge get if they could land him! There was a report on day 1 that the Cowboys were looking at two fa linebacker and 1 on the trade market per Bobby Belt. You have to figure those two linebackers were Walker and Dean both signed with the Raiders. Question is, who was the player they were thinking about trading for?

It will be interesting to see the fallout of the Maxx trade. The Raiders signed two guys we were interested in. Neither one was ideal but would have been an improvement.

Even if Styles is gone Allen or Rodriquez could be good players at some point in the season.

As with RBs, when you draft a rookie like Styles, Reese, Allen, Rodriguez, you usually release or trade the starter being replaced. I’m sure we are looking at LBs and will likely draft 1-2, but there will also be vets available.

Wagner will be 36 on June 27th. Are the Commodes not resigning him?

I am not sure he would fit CP's plans though.

Eric Kendricks played well at the end of last year.
All I want to see is a us draft Sonny styles.
That guy is going to be an elite player
I wish he skipped the combine because I dont think he makes it to 12 now.
