Even at 40 he is better than anyone we had at LB last year.

He’s actually gonna be 36 in June, but yeah may as well be 40.

Unfortunately, the draft not lining up well in the first round for the Boys. Allen and Styles fixing to be gone before 12, and Hill or Rodriguez would be reaches that high. May have to reach or trade down and get 2nd and 3rd round picks.

As everybody knows, they have got to get some linebackers. The possibilities are:
Bobby Okereke
Bobby Wagner
Trade
Draft
Sonny Styles
C J Allen
Jacob Rodriguez
Anthony Hill Jr.
Jake Golday
Josiah Trotter
Kyle Louis
Taurean York
Jack Kelly

I think that is pretty much it. I don't know who they could get in trade, but I would think that it is a possibility. I think they could draft 2 good ones and Wagner on a 1 year deal might be a good move. They very well might draft Allen, they do have his college coach on staff.

There are a few in the later round s who could help us out over and above what we have. Daniels and Heineke from Oklahoma could be late round fliers.

I've posted this elsewhere, the Steelers' Nick Herbig is a LB they may be interested in trading. He played well in '25 but it's a crowded LB room from what I've read. The Cowboys may have interest.

Switching to a 3-4, it wouldn't be wrong to take two LBs with their first two picks so long as the picks match the value.

Taking two of the top four LBers on the draft list would certainly help.
