Cincy might, saw them today, defense is real bad and now they have little to no chance to make the postseason. Agree about Carolina and even Tampa
Cincinnati is better than the Giants and our offense is not great. It is a toss up game. We can win. No doubt.

Honestly, my concern is more positional than talent. A DT rarely makes an immediate impact as it generally takes 2-3 years. Since Mazi is showing improvement, I am leaning more toward pairing him with a free-agent vet with a solid resume as a run defender. That way I know what I'm getting and know he can hit the ground running.
The problem with this strategy is the DT free agency class is weak.

Nolan? I wouldn't call him small. He is over 300, which is typical for that type of player
Have friends on the Ole Miss staff. They list him at 290 lbs and that’s being generous. I know recent roster update has him at 305 but again, he’s much much lighter.

Good player but we don’t have the support or scheme to maximize his talents.

There are guys like Bobby Brown, Tedarrell Slaton, and Khyiris Tonga that are under 30 and could come in and help this team. You just have to have a FO that isn’t terrified of their own ineptness in free agency.

Or they could go completely off script and try to sign a bigger name like Milton Williams from Philadelphia, strengthening their team and weakening their division rival in one move. Williams is light and more of a 3Tech so they would need to also add a 1Tech who isn’t almost 40 years old.

Not sure Hampton makes it to us in round 2, but a DL or OL in R1 and Hampton in 2 is my ideal start.
Hampton would be awesome. I would like Grant and Hampton. I hope that we get one of the top backs. One of Jeanty, Hampton, or Kaleb Johnson. I won't be happy if we miss out on all 3. It's going to be close with that 2nd round pick.

I agree and hell, Taylor could now be fighting for his job
The Brown family is cheaper than the Jones family. Taylor job is safe. I think he got an extension a few years ago. Good lord Dan Orlosky is kissing Burrow‘a bootie right now. It’s sickening…….
