Looking through the current rosters, I see these RB's that might become available.

Jordan Todman - Baltimore
George Winn - Detroit
Matthew Tucker - Philly
Kendall Hunter - San Fran
Anthony "Boobie" Dixon - Buffalo
Fitzgerald Toussaint - Baltimore
Kerwynn Williams - Arizona
Rex Burkhead - Cincinnati
Jeremy Stewart - Denver

I think there are a couple guys on that list that could be an upgrade for us if they get cut.

There will be more options then this I'm guessing. A lot of backs were drafted and that means that teams are going to save roster spots for them. Backs are going to be cut and it's likely that those backs will be decent vet options because it's cheaper to bring back young guys still under rookie contracts with fewer years on them if you are a RB. I am not at all panicked about RB. I believe that we have good talent on our roster and that we may not need to bring in more talent but, if we do, I think there are going to be decent options for us.

I am not tingled with anyone on that list.

None of them are Adrian Peterson.

I wouldn't mind them bringing Hunter in for competition.

I doubt we get AD. But I wouldn't be surprised if we traded for a Zac Stacy, Doug Martin, Terrance West, Isiah Crowell type. Guys who have proven more than the guys we have and might be a small upgrade, but not any RB that's gonna cost more than a very late round draft pick.

Doug Martin is who I have my eye on. Tampa didn't pick up option. Dallas likes Boise State players. But he has really fallen off since his rookie year.

If you are blind to the fact that the FO likes our current guys then yeah, you might think someone on that list is an upgrade. You are fooling yourself if you think "upgrades" are going to be added to the current RB corp.

As much as I do not care for our current group, I don't see any upgrades here.

I would as soon sign a street free agent like Knowshon Moreno.

That said, I think we will not make any move until we learn the hard way we got this wrong.

And even then, probably not until the season is over. They blew it and will now deal with it.

I read this, looked at the OP's name, and lol.

I think any of those guys are probably upgrades to Randal.

Ryan Williams doesn't seem to "get it" from what I'm hearing. Coaches like his effort, but I don't think they trust him.

Tucker is a big guy who can run. 6'0 220. 4.55
Dixon is even bigger at 6'1 233. 4.65
Toussaint is faster and stronger than Randal.
George Winn is the ideal size, 5'10 218. 4.69
