Possibly more important than a change at starting QB:

Romo can be either good bad or somewhere in the middle. BP will not make the change for at least 3 more games- DB has that long to shape up.

You're probably right. Let's hope the season isn't lost by then. Worst case is Bledsoe has 1 1/2 good games, 1 1/2 bad games like is normal for him. That will be enough reason for BP to not look at Romo.

I don´t care how good your line is, when teams blitz, there will be pressure on the QB, and he has to be able to handle it, Bledsoe can´t.
ANd what gets me is even when PHilly didn't blitz, when Bledsoe did have time (and a clear passing lane), the mistakes were still there...

I don't think Bill is too loyal to Drew but if there was ever a time to at least give Romo a shot at proving himself, it would be against Houston...what would dallas have to lose but another game?

Watkins is a Rookie. He is learning and he is going to make some mistakes. If you want a young FS to come in and play, then you have to live with the mistakes youth will bring. It will eventually make him better. Roy, on the other hand, that's different. Incredibly bad angle to the long TD pass. Que the Roy is great in coverage faction in 5.....4......3......2........

It did seem that Roy slipped at the end, and it isn't like we would have gotten the ball, Watkins had been flagged for holding so the Piggles would have kept the ball.

I find it somewhat amusing that last year Bledsoe homers said Bledsoe sucked because Flo went down with injury.

This year Bledsoe sucks because the OL sucks and that is mainly Flo's fault.

Just saying...

One thing I can assure you is that I am not a Bledsoe homer. Nor do I care to look behind the curtain at Romo. Curiosity has not got the better of me yet. "The evil you know is better than the evil you don't know."

I was using this thread as a tongue-in-cheek way to counter all the bridge jumpers demanding a change at QB. Having said that I do feel supplanting your Left Tackle is a whole lot easier than replacing your starting QB and having to live with the consequences.

And I never bought into the whole when Flo went down schtick, because Bledsoe gets worse each year, and he gets worse within each season the longer the season progresses. No more the O-ine in front of him. So at some point it may be out of need to replace Bledsoe, but it is too early in the season to do it now.

For what it is worth I was not referring to you in my post above.

However, "the evil you know is better than evil you dont know" comment I would have to disagree with.

What if we find out next year that Romo is the next best thing since sliced bread, but Dallas decided to crash and burn with Bledsoe this year?

Not saying that will happen, but it is not out of the realm of possibility.

Besides, I do not want to go into next year with zero game experience Romo in charge.
